This is a place where you can wake up in a king size bed and look straight onto St. Ives Bay and Godrevy lighthouse. Watch the ebb and flow of the tide, whilst having your morning tea or coffee. Step out of the door and walk on the dunes or beach comb in St. Ives Bay. There is a private garden and patio where you can eat outside whilst watching the sunset over the bay. Alternatively, each house has a TV, DVD player and free unlimited super fast broadband/ wifi.

Lelant, the birthplace of Rosamunde Pilcher, is conveniently located near to St. Ives, but remains a peaceful and relaxed village even in the height of summer. The Eden Project is within easy distance to visit for the day, as are many of Cornwall's tourist destinations. A great location, especially of interest to golfers, walkers, painters, ornithologists, kayakers, windsurfers and anglers.

The houses have modern fully equipped kitchens including cooker, hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, toaster and kettle. Well stocked with cookware and tableware. Solid work surfaces, ceramic sink.

Each has an open plan living area with ample sofa seating. Free view TV and DVD player. Large selection of films and documentaries available. Bookshelves with large selection of books and games.

The Dining area in the Beach Bungalow can be organised so that all guests can dine together. With tables and chairs positioned by patio windows with sea views.

Fresh towels, bathrobes and bedlinen are provided. The property is thoroughly cleaned after each guest vacates. For stays of more than one week, all sheets and towels will be changed and the accommodation will be vacuum.

There is a modern wood burning stove as well as modern Norwegian electric radiators. High chairs and travel cot are available on request. The houses are suitable for children.

Beach-pads offers a truly stunning location for painters to experience the special 'light' of St.Ives Bay. The location inspired John Miller to paint world famous seascape and images of the views.

If you are considering a beach wedding, Beach-pads would be ideal. The houses are very close to St Uny Church and would make an ideal venue for a wedding party. Equally, The Ferry House has sufficient outside space for the erection of a marquee on the lawn above the beach.

May to Aug is a good time for Anglers to fish for bass from the Beach. Kayakers and gig rowers are seen daily on the estuary. Hayle Towans on the opposite side of the estuary is a popular surfing, kite-surfing and wind surfing beach. The Hayle estuary is the most southerly estuary in the UK and the last stopping spot on mainland UK for migrating birds. It is therefore a RSPB reserve. Walkers can step out the door and walk the Hayle to St Ives section of the South West Coastal Route.

The famous local author Rosamunde Pilcher has recently described the walk to the house as her favourite walk:

"My favourite walk is at Lelant, down the road past the church onto the golf course. You see the bay and the colours, and it's never the same - it's just perfect."

Spectacular views, amazing houses

  • 5 of 5

We hired all 3 houses for a special birthday celebration, and were not disappointed in any respect. The location is unparalleled and the houses were very clean, well appointed and exactly as described. The swimming pool and hot tubs were fully operational and the log burning stoves fantastic. The owner, Nicola, was extremely helpful and we received a professional service from start to finish. Thank you.

St Ives Bay has superb beaches with glittering clear sea and clear air. The Beach House is situated on one of St Ives Bay's beaches. Great for surfing, windsurfing, sea kayaking and fishing.

The area has great artistic traditions dating back to the 1800s when accomplished painters revelled in the clear accurate light and luminous colours. An artistic legacy exhibited in the Tate Gallery. The Beach House, the former studio of John Miller, who captured the beauty of the location in his Beach paintings.

Add to all this a range of excellent restaurants and cafés, traditional pubs and St. Ives becomes even more of a holiday delight.

The Eden Project and other world famous Cornish gardens such as Heligan and Glendurgan are all in driving distance.

The property is situated next to the West Cornwall Golf Course and on the South West Coastal Walking Route and the Hayle Estaury Bird Reserve.

Lelant was the birth place and childhood home of Rosamunde Pilcher author of the Shell Seekers.

The famous local author Rosamunde Pilcher has recently described the walk to the house as her favourite walk:

"My favourite walk is at Lelant, down the road past the church onto the golf course. You see the bay and the colours, and it's never the same - it's just perfect."

Golf: Meters from the scenic 18 hole West Cornwall Golf Course.
