Why Tim & Nancy Delpha chose Vian
Growing up in Tulsa, we would visit Lake Tenkiller. I loved the water and scenery. About the time I retired, we decided to purchase or build a home with a nice view of the lake. We happened on this location and built our home in 2011. We've been adding a little at a time to it ever since.
What makes this House unique
We chose the property because of the beautiful, unobstructed view of the lake and Snake Creek valley. We especially love just sitting on the deck viewing the lake and enjoying the sunsets.

Perfect View, Perfect Place
This was the nicest place I have stayed in yet to date. The whole house was spotless and really gave off that homey feel immediately upon entering. I would recommend this place 100/100 times and will definitely be squiring this location have I ever return to TenKiller or other Oklahoma lakes nearby. Parking with boats are kinda tricky but doable. Only two negatives to the whole place. One, there is only one tv in the whole house and it’s on the bottom story. I would have loved to watch my team play football while I was cooking and doing other stuff upstairs with the rest of the family. Two, there isn’t any WiFi. Which makes it hard to stream to other devices that would justify not having a tv upstairs. Other than that, this place was absolutely perfect.
Beautiful hillside property with lake view
We loved staying in this gorgeous tri-level home. There was enough space for two families with children. The view of the lake was incredible. The only downside was the lake was still very high from recent flooding in early 2019 but we were able to rent a boat and still enjoy the water. All the swim areas/beaches were still flooded out, though. The house itself has all the basic essentials you will need for a large group. The 2-acre yard is a large, sloping hill. This was a surprise for us not knowing the area. Our toddler enjoyed going up and down stairs by herself but if you have a smaller child I would recommend bringing baby gates because of the sets of stairs in the middle of the home. Overall, we highly recommend this home for your stay. It most definitely outshines the photos listed on vrbo!
Beautiful home, if you have a toddler bring several baby gates. The views are off the wall.
Fantastic choice for a family gathering!!
This beautiful home is located high above Lake Tenkiller and the views are spectacular!! House is spacious and very comfortable -- excellent appliances and very well stocked. Bunk bed rooms are somewhat difficult for seniors or tall people to navigate -- but young children will love them!! Highly recommended!
Great cabin with a fantastic view
We stayed at this cabin for a fishing trip. There was plenty of room and the cabin was beautiful. It is sitting up on a hill with a fantastic view of the lake. There is a marina that is 2 mins away making it easy to put our kayaks in the water and fish the weekend away. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice relaxing weekend at the lake. Great setup for a family trip too.
Thanks for the kind words about our lake home! Come back any time!
Beautiful home. Amazing view. Comfortable furniture and beds.
Owners were so easy to work with and replied to questions quickly. Documentation in the house was helpful. Kitchen was well stocked and capable of cooking any meal. Great weekend of relaxation and reflection as we wrapped up 2018.
Please refer to the Lake Tenkiller Visitor's Guide for a full listing of area attractions, maps and directions. In that guide you will find a wide array of restaurants, marinas (some offer boat rentals), scuba diving (Known for it's clear water, Lake Tenkiller is a great lake for diving). Lake Tenkiller is fed primarily by the Illinois River which offers float trip services which is usually safe for all ages. Also in the Guide you will find brief histories about some of the area towns.
It's a very rustic area with a broad range of activities including golf, hiking, skiing or swimming. Our home is within an hour's drive of Muskogee and Fort Smith, Ark for shopping, movie theaters, and other attractions. Tulsa is about 1.5 hours to the northwest and OKC is about 2.5 hours to the west.
