Excellent ! We loved this apartment it was a great location with a superb view. The apartment was easy to find and thanks to getting collected at the airport it made it so much easier than having to worry how to get there. The apartment was very spacious and was perfect for me and my family with enough space to have time on our own if needs be! The living area was perfect with enough seats for everyone to sit around and enjoy the view. The apartment is well laid out with good size bedrooms and the option of having a third double occupancy. The bathroom is equipped with everything that you could possibly need as well as the extra WC which comes in handy if there is more than 2 people! Getting around from the apartment was easy enough you have the option of the steps into the town centre or just around the corner is the Barracka lift which operates every day between 7am and 9pm and only cost 1 euro to go and its free to come back down and you can get out at the Saluting Battery. The views that we had was stunning watching the cruise ships come and go among watching over the 3 cities with an added bonus around the corner is the water taxi to take you over. Sandra was very helpful and checked in on us regularly which was good, we throughly enjoyed this apartment and look forward to hopefully getting back over again to it. So thank you!!
Had a great weekend in this apartment, was very clean and had everything you need for self-catering. The location is ideal for the water taxis between Valletta and the Three Cities and a short walk to the lift. The views are fabulous, we were amazed at how peaceful it was! Without hesitation I would most definitely recommend this apartment. Thank you to lady who waited for us to arrive too!
This property is absolutely lovely, great views of Valletta harbour. Very central location, just 5 minutes walk from the lift that takes you to upper barraka gardens and into Valletta centre. The apartment is very well stocked with everything that you need on holiday. Would highly recommend it. Hopefully return soon. Thank you to Sandra who welcomed us and showed us how everything worked.
Valletta - drenched in centuries of history, yet alive with the bustle of cosmopolitan Mediterranean life - truly deserves its status as World Heritage City. From our apartment in Dahlet Gnien is-Sultan, a two-minute stroll takes you into the heart of the old city with its spectacular baroque architecture, distinctive wooden balconies, cool fountains and shaded courtyards. Near year-round sunshine means you can make the most of an al-fresco lifestyle in its squares, gardens and cafes. Explore Valletta's many churches, the Grandmaster's Palace and the Auberges of the Knights of St John, or visit the delightful 17th century Manoel Theatre, the oldest theatre in Europe. Valletta loves to party - there's the famous festas in honour of patron saints, street parades and Carnival - you're bound to catch at least one of these during your stay. And, of course, you'll have a grandstand view of spectacular firework displays over the floodlit Fort St Angelo and Fort St Elmo.
