This beautiful villa with stonewalls, bought by its current owners in 1991, is the result of a conservative restoration of a typical barn in true Tuscan style dating back to early 20th century. The house is located in open country on the ancient path of the Frankish Road, at only 2 km from the small hamlet of Pancole and 5 km from the typical medieval town of San Gimignano.
The detached farmhouse with an amazing view on the surrounding vineyards is set in a private garden of 2000m2, adorned by roses and herbs.
A private swimming pool is at the exclusive disposal of the guests. The interiors preserve a sophisticated style and are definitely welcoming: stone arches divide the large living-room from the sleeping area and the kitchen, equipped with any comfort. The villa is easily reachable: a gravel road of about 800 m connects the house to the state road leading to Certaldo and San Gimignano.
The garden is at the exclusive disposal of our guests; a part of it is designed for the growth of English roses, which the owner of the villa is particularly fond of, as well as for aromatic plants, officinal herbs and sage. The garden is equipped with two tables, chairs and sun beds. A large pergola covered by wisteria allows you to enjoy your lunch in the garden. The villa can accommodate 8 people.
The apartment is located on one single storey:Ground floor: large living-room with satellite-TV and DVD-player, 3 double rooms and 3 fully-equipped bathrooms. 3 steps above the living-room area: room with two single beds that can be put together An iron staircase connects the living-room area to the loft: double extendable sofa bed for 2 people. Large kitchen, equipped with any comfort (fridge, freezer, kitchen range, dish washer, oven, microwave and toaster). 3 steps below the kitchen area: typical wood-oven, barbecue inside with access to the veranda outside (with table and chairs). A winding staircase connects the ground floor to the laundry room (with an ironing board, a flat iron and a garden barbecue)
