About Five Trees
After many years of visiting Cape Cod, in 2002, Suzy Kline bought a lovely property in Yarmouth Port, Mass., a charming historic town on Cape Cod.
It had everything Suzy wanted, a mix of town and country, with a comfortable home and lots of land. The property also had two rentals perfect for people who wanted to rent a home for a vacation or weekend getaway.
This lovely property is sufficiently set back from the road to afford privacy and peace & quiet from any automobile traffic. The Townhouses are surrounded by a huge lawn with beautiful trees, including a huge Sycamore Tree with five trunks, for which Suzy named her new home. At the rear is a lovely acre of forest leading to the old Cape Cod Rail line.
In addition to the main house and rental, there are two additional buildings: A cute barn (which she converted to a studio for her art and craft projects), and a lovely private cottage toward the back with it's own amenities.
Suzy restored the buildings to their original 1940's feel, and indulged in one of her passions, gardening, putting in new flower beds and amending old ones.
While still running a real estate business in New York City, she created a peaceful oasis in one of the most beautiful locations in the country, if not the world. With all of this Suzy strives to make your visit to Five Trees pleasant and memorable.
Love being here, want to come back here next year, it’s so peaceful here compared to a lot of the cape.
I always have a wonderful stay at Five Trees in Yarmouth Port. I travel on business and love staying in the townhouse as well as the cottage behind the house. Each rental has its own charm and amenities and the entire property is beautiful, clean and relaxing. The property has great views from the windows, lots of flowers, and is within walking distance of a lovely saltwater pond. The property includes woods in the back of the house with paths, some of which lead to a mini golf course. After staying here, I always feel rested. The host is very congenial and is there when you need something, but she values your privacy. All in all - a great place I come back to often.
We had a lovely stay at this home. We used the grill and ate outdoors. We had four adults and the two bedrooms were just right. The kitchen was small but using the outdoor grill and patio set this was not a problem. It is a quiet area and we had a nice time relaxing after a full day at the beach.
We stayed at The Five Trees the first week of August 2015 the property was Very well kepted up and very clean. The yard and landscape was beautiful lots of tables, chairs and several grills were available to use. We found the location was good not up in a busy area and it took only 15 mins either way to get to the beach. Lots of local places to eat and visit which again only took about 10 mins to get up onto rt 28! We enjoyed the quiet area and peacefulness. Suzy was around all the time and available for us if we needed something but she didn't bother us at all. Very nice person. Karen H.
We had a lovely stay at 5 Trees. The place has a large and nice garden and small woods that our young girl enjoyed a lot. The cottage was cute and neat in a very "English seaside style". We enjoyed the BBQ and sitting outside on the many tables/chairs and Hamacs available. Suzy provided good advices for accesses to the beach and local attractions and places to go for food. It was la lovely family time.
We loved the property of this rental. The owner has beautiful flower beds and keeps the bird feeders full so there is lots of activity at the windows. There is plenty of outdoor seating and lounges and we were encouraged to move the furniture anywhere we wanted, and there were many lovely places to lounge. We saw the morning fox take stroll past the kitchen window almost every day. The trails in the back wooded area were great for the dog, as well as lazy afternoons on the front lawn.
The house has everything you need to be comfortable and there is an almost constant breeze to keep you cool. The owner has beach items available to borrow, and among brochures of things to do, provides a great list of her personal recommendations for food, shopping, beaches and dog walks, many of which we tried out.
Because the rental is set back from the road, it is quiet and private, yet very convenient, no matter where you want to go. Yarmouthport itself is fairly quiet, which after a few years of rentals in the center of the action, is just what we were looking for.
The owner is wonderful. She is as helpful as you need her to be, but gives you all the privacy you need.
Our family vacation (2 adults, 2 kids and one small dog) was spent in lovely Cape Cod this summer. We stayed in the townhouse on this lovely property. The private grounds are indeed a getaway, boasting beautiful gardens and plenty of areas to relax. The home is located such that we were able to easily navigate to our destinations each day. This dog friendly home even provided neat recommendations on where to take our furry friend so that he could enjoy his vacation too! Suzy was very friendly and accommodating to our family and our little dog. She made us feel welcome and was very un-fussy! Her home is a casual retreat with books, games and movies for the entire family.
