Thank you for considering our mountain cabin as your vacation get-away! We find peace and tranquility there and we think you will find it as well! The cabin, only two years old, offers sleeping accommodations for up to 10. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one queen bed (new Tuft and Needle mattress), and one full bed (new mattress), and an upstairs loft area that has two single beds and one full bed (ALL have new Tuft and Needle mattresses!) Additionally, there is plenty of space to blow up two queen air mattresses if extra space is needed for kids or extra people. The fully equipped kitchen offers stainless steel appliances and a sitting area to view beautiful Roan Mountain or any wildlife that may be playing in the yard. The large living room area is equipped with a semi circular leather couch with recliners on both ends and a large ottoman. Rockers are available in this room, adding sitting space for large family gatherings. There is a large flat screen TV over the mantle, offering a movie like setting for those who enjoy movies or TV. The front porch of our cabin is equipped with a swing, two rockers and other porch chairs, offering an early morning getaway for readers and bird watchers while listening to the stream. This is a favorite spot for almost everyone who visits the cabin. The back porch of the cabin is a great spot to grill and entertain. The 10 acre property that the cabin sits on has a natural walking path for those who like to get exercise without having to leave the cabin to do this. Additionally, there is a natural fire pit just across the bridge by the creek where you and your family may enjoy smores and late night chats. The creek water is adjacent to the firepit and readily available to extinguish the fire/embers after use. All seasons are beautiful here, as nature puts on a display of brilliant colors depending on the time of year. We hope your stay at the cabin will be a time of refreshment and renewal.

About Hope Radebaugh
Our late father had our cabin built in 2015. It was Daddy's goal that the property would be enjoyed by family and friends. Having grown up in Roan Mountain, moving away, then returning to vacation at the cabin and where we grew up, it has never been more clear that the beauty of Roan Mountain and the peace and tranquility found there is a gift from God and one that is not easily found in other parts of the world. Our cabin is a special place, surrounded by natural beauty that is hard to replicate. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Perfect mountain getaway
We enjoyed this cabin so much we just had to book for an extra night! The cabin sits at the base of Roan Mountain and the views are just as breathtaking at the bottom as they are at the top. We loved sitting on the front porch while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The kitchen is fully stocked if you plan on cooking or there are several restaurants close by. One night we got our meal to go just so we could come back and eat on he porch. Make time to explore Roan Mountain State Park, hiking trails, and the balds only a few short miles from here.
It always blesses us to hear great things from our guests! Very thankful your stay at the cabin was a great one!
The cabin, property and location were beautiful!

Beautiful peaceful getaway
This is a beautiful clean home for a wonderful getaway. Close to some great hiking. Peaceful property with a beautiful river to wade in. Thank you for a great weekend!
So so happy your family enjoyed the cabin! This brings us joy!
Gorgeous, Felt at home!!!
We stayed in the Boone Cabin for our family reunion that was being held at Roan Mountain State Park. The road to the cabin was just off the main road to the park which is super convenient. The cabin was very easy to get to. When we got there and opened the door we were in awe of how beautiful it was. The cabin had everything you would ever need for cooking; pots, pans, plates, etc. The owner came while we were there to water the ferns, he asked us if we minded and of course we said no because it gave us a chance to ask about his father and the cabin. The creek was absolutely beautiful even though it was up a little more than normal due to the rain days before. While sitting on the porch you can’t hear the vehicles at all unless it’s a truck with a very loud exhaust. We also saw a lot of wildlife while we were sitting outside everything from deer, birds, squirrels, and some beautiful hummingbirds. It was just a wonderful weekend in this beautiful cabin spent with friends and family in the gorgeous shadows of the trees and Roan Mountain!
We are thrilled that your family enjoyed the cabin!
Always great to hear!
