Nothing compares to a morning coffee on the porch of this rental. Peace and quiet, only squirells, rabbits, horses neighing. You see Sierra rising from the early mist and start planning your day. Maybe a hike in stunning Sequoia Grove or swim in a river or just stay on the ranch, read, write, cook and pet horses. Beds are super comfortable, kitchen is equipped with everything, a/c was a pleasure to have in hot weather. Three Rivers is a charming, little town with few choices to eat. Lovely place to stay, highly recommended.
Loved the setting. Very clean and organized. The closeness to Sequoia was great
Great stay!! This beautiful home was perfect for our family to relax and unwind after a day exploring in the park!!!
This guest house was perfect for our group. It was clean, close to the sequoias, and super cute and comfortable. We arrived late and it was dark. The property is off the beaten path and it was very well marked on where to go. We were so grateful for thoughtful owners who thought of everything. I wish we could have stayed longer. Great find!!
Highly recommend this little gem!
I have stayed at other places through VRBO and never felt compelled to write a review; however, the Sequoia Oaks Guest House so surpassed our expectations, I felt the need to let others know what a gem this place is.
When we first pulled into the driveway the first thing we saw were bunnies hopping through the field next to the house. Then we were greeted by the owner’s two friendly horses and hummingbirds and butterflies flitting about. Upon entering the charming little house, it was apparent it was the perfect place for us, cozy, clean and tastefully decorated. The furniture was comfortable. The appliances were all high end. Each of the three bedrooms were lovingly decorated. The mattresses and pillows were also high end. I’ve stayed in places with cheap threadbare sheets, crappy towels and motel-styled bedspreads. Not at the Guest House! All the linens provided were top of the line. Blankets, sheets and towels were luxurious and there were more than enough towels, hand towels and washcloths. (It would have been helpful to have a couple more places to hang wet towels, like hooks or racks, but we managed well enough.) The host conveniently provided shampoo, conditioner and shower soap.
The patio was lovely for enjoying our morning coffee, which the host graciously provided, and sitting around the easy to use gas fire pit in the evening, gazing at the stars with a glass of wine, was a pleasant way to end the day.
All in all, we would highly recommend The Sequoia Oaks Guest House. If we venture back to the area you can bet that’s where we’ll stay!
(A note of caution to all guests … don’t forget the door’s passcode or have it with you if you step out of the house! We, embarrassingly, locked ourselves out almost as soon as we arrived!)
Great place to stay!
The ranch house is very well cared for, immaculately clean, and a delightful place to stay. The setting is quiet and peaceful. We loved having coffee out on the front porch watching the horses, bunnies and squirrels. The owners were very responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend staying at this lovely location!
