Evian, a gated community within tropical Shipyard Plantation is located at the Island's southern tip.
Each of the 2 bedrooms has its own bath and the queen-sized sleeper sofa allows more room for your family. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, great room, dining room, and a private balcony overlooking the golf course and lagoon. The lagoon, which lies behind the villa, carries with it the intrigue of native alligators and turtles.
The landscaping of the Evians is tropical and lush and you will enjoy it’s beauty as you take a short walk to the Evian pool or ride a bike along the paths to the beach, shops, etc.
Shipyard’s 3 golf courses grant you plenty of options for year round world class golf.
Shipyard is also home to the Van Der Meer Tennis Resort and was named one of Tennis Magazine’s Top 50 US Tennis resorts. Attend 1-5 day tennis clinics with renowned Dennis Van der Meer and his USPTR staff.
Evian Amenities: A short five minute walk from the villa is the Evian pool and tennis courts which is exclusive for Evian guests. A gazebo on the lagoon near the pool offers the opportunity to enjoy watching the turtles and alligators from above. From the villa, a 15 minute walk along the bike trail takes you straight to the private Shipyard Plantation Beach.
Bike Rentals: Order bikes ahead of time from vendors like Pedals or the Hilton Head Bike Company. They'll bring bike gear to the villa for as little as $3 per bike per day. If you have to bring a lot of gear to the beach, parking is available on a first come/first served basis at no cost to you as our guest in the Shipyard Beach Club lot just 50 feet from the beach.
Golf, Tennis & More: As our guest you are able to enjoy golf and tennis amenities of Shipyard. Please see the web addresses above for more information. If you have special requests just ask and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Nothing is too much to ask...whether you need the refrigerator stocked or need a lift from the airport, we will work out the details for an additional fee. Please let us know how we can make your time on the island more enjoyable.

Michael & Mary,
We returned from PCBeach yesterday with our stay at a new condo we rented
from an individual owner, such as yourselves. This particular owner did not
supply helpful information AND their support representative in Florida was
not helpful either. We appreciate your quality in such service. At this time we
don't have any questions, but I'm sure to call before we leave.
We spent 2 weeks in March 2006 at Evian 158. The Bullerdick's have made it a beautiful villa with very tasteful decorating throughout. The peace and serenity of the area was absolutely gorgeous. We hope to occupy this unit in the future.
My husband and I traveled to Hilton Head Island at the end of July 2016. We had a glorious time, helped, not in a small part, by the lovely, peaceful villa at Evian.
The villa is fully kitted with everything you may need for your stay. We ate out most of the time and did not use the kitchen for more than snacks and drinks, but it was fully functional with full sized appliances, silverware, crockery, pots and pans.
The villa is a great size, and with the balcony overlooking the golf course and a lagoon, there is ample room for everyone without feeling crowded. (Although, as I said it was just hubby and I staying there).
Although the villa is part of a building with a few other villas, this one being on the second floor, we heard nothing from our fellow travelers. The area itself is incredibly peaceful with bike/walking paths throughout. There is a pool well within walking distance, with a lagoon close by, too.
There are three 9 hole golf courses in the Shipyard plantation with the '19th hole' being just a 2 minute drive away.
Hilton Head Island itself is truly beautiful, with lots to do for young people, but do not expect fairgrounds and water parks here - it is kept with nature very much in the forefront. The beaches are second to none!
I feel I must mention the beach access here, although it really has nothing to do with the villa or its owners. The beach access for the plantation is fairly close by - a drive if you need to carry items to the beach. But parking requires a pass and it is quite expensive for the week. This is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. There are other public accesses to beaches quite close by (just a few minutes drive off plantation) with metered parking.
The owners were very easy to reach and communicate with.
Would certainly recommend this villa and would really enjoy staying here again!
We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a small family. Loved the layout and decorations. Owner very helpful and easy to work with. We now wish we could live in Evian. Great pool and nice bike ride to the beach. Shipyard Plantation is also the best! Thank you so much! Hope to be back soon.
We spent 10 days at Evian, Shipyard Plantation in July. The owner was easy to deal with and returned our phone calls promptly with any questions we had before and after our arrival. Check in time was 4:00 and although we arrived after 4:00 and were told our unit had been cleaned and was ready however the site manager had not inspected the unit after it had been cleaned and would be there shortly. Upon our arrival at the unit we found a pile of dirty laundry by the door. The inspector also agreed this was unacceptable and would report it. The light fixtures in the second bathroom worked randomly and the blowdryers were not working in the master bath and there was none to be found in the second bath. Luckily we have friends that live on the island and we were able to borrow one. I spoke with the owner because I wanted him to be aware of the fact that we felt the cleaning team he has hired to take care of this place was subpar. It was very dusty, the kitchen counters were sticky and there was food left in the sink. The glass tables all had glass rings and the windows had finger prints all over the place. I can't help believe that they came in, changed the sheets and cleaned the bathroooms nothing else. He did offer to have the "team" come back but I had already gone through the unit with clorax wipes. Once we cleaned up we began to relax and enjoy our surroundings. The unit itself is decorated with a wildlife theme. Even after a day or so I was still finding little touches that made the unit interesting. I loved the master bedroom suite and had no trouble sleeping although I found no evidence of 600 count sheets anywhere. I think with a little TLC this place could be a really great getaway. We rented bikes and rode them to the beach everyday instead of trying find a parking space. We have been coming to Hilton Head for 14 years and usually stay with our friends. We just wanted our own space this time around and did enjoy it.
Quiet scenic location with all conveniences very close. We were looking for a place fairly close to the beach but nice enough to walk around, play tennis and "veg". The unit has plenty of room and is on a quiet 2nd floor. Everyone was very friendly in the area, which was good for our child, who was 9 at the time. The owner is responsive and very good to deal with. Would recommend for anyone who likes the Coligny Square area but who still wants to be able to move around on the island quickly. Easy access to the toll road or the regular blvd.
We really enjoyed our stay in the villa. We rented bikes for the week and were able to ride them almost everywhere we went, the location is great! The unit was clean, kitchen was spacious, and beds were comfortable. The owner was very helpful and easy to work with.
