Welcome to our mountain getaway! The Royal View Condo is a large 1 bedroom/1 bath condo, right on the west end of Frisco's Main Street. It’s an end unit, with lots of natural light, and spectacular views of Mount Royal right out the living room windows. The condo is in an awesome location, just a five-minute walk to downtown Frisco. There is hiking, mountain biking, road riding, and climbing right out the door. The condo is DOG FRIENDLY; our golden doodle loves to come to the mountains with us!
About the condo
The condo has a fully equipped kitchen, with granite counters and stainless appliances. The living area has a large flat-screen smart TV with a Blu-ray player, cable, and access to streaming apps like Netflix and HBO. The bedroom is huge, with a King bed and a second smart TV. The Queen-sized sofa sleeper in the living area is the most comfortable hide-a-bed we have ever slept on (seriously, we slept on the same one at a friend’s place, and were so impressed we bought one the next week). We have high-speed Wi-Fi, an assortment of games and puzzles in case the famous Colorado sunshine should dip behind a cloud, and a balcony overlooking the beautiful Ten Mile Creek. On the balcony you’ll find outdoor seating and a gas grill.
We have one reserved parking spot in the covered parking garage underneath the building, and there is additional off-street parking. There is a hot tub, sauna, and (coin-op) laundry in the condo club lounge.
We use a local property management company in Frisco to manage check-in/check-out, and any other assistance you might need.
Frisco is a great little town, with a historic Main Street lined with independent shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars. It is in the heart of Summit County (Ski Country USA!), but there’s tons to do all year, with hiking, mountain biking, road riding, fishing, climbing, drinking, and dining all within minutes of our front door.
In winter, the Royal View condo is a great option for skiers and riders who are on a budget, but who want to be central to all the resorts of Summit County. It’s a short drive to Keystone and Breckenridge, and the free Summit Stage bus to Copper Mountain leaves from just outside the front door. In summertime, the Summit County bike path runs right behind the condo, heading to Lake Dillon (2 miles), Copper Mountain (7 miles), Vail Pass (12 miles), Keystone (13 miles), and Breckenridge (10 miles). And in spring or fall, you will enjoy the lovely colors of the aspen trees from any of the nearby hiking trails.
It is possible to enjoy everything Frisco has to offer without a car. There is a shuttle to the Frisco Transit Center from Denver International Airport, and our condo is right on the Summit Stage bus route, which connects to nearby resorts and several hiking trailheads. If you do drive, we are right off the westernmost Frisco exit from I-70. The local bike shop is just down Main Street, where you can rent a bike for both cruising and more serious adventures.
