The perfect sunset
We enjoyed our stay at the beach house. The view was incredible everyday. This is a great vacation spot or a staycation.
Blissful summer in Florida
This was an unforgettable place for a family vacation. The views are spectacular, especially during sunset. Falling asleep with the soft sound of ocean waves was so relaxing. The house is nicely polished with modern features and new furnishings while still retaining the feel of a beach house. Visiting in July, we had worried a little about the weather—would it be too hot?—but happily it turned out to be lovely the whole time. The house is very well air conditioned, and if you're sitting on the screen porch or on the beach, the breeze from the ocean is cooling enough that you'd think you were there in spring. I barely left the property for the entire week we were there--except to walk over to the Casey Key Fish House for the occasional seafood dinner, or for a long stroll up the beach. All in all, a wonderful spot for a relaxing getaway and a taste of Old Florida.
Casey Key Vacation - 2019
We stayed at this property last week and fell in love with the "Old Florida" feel to this beach-front home. There is ample parking and the ductless AC units work great! The beach is coming back from past storms so it is a bit narrow, but big enough for beach chairs (but you are very near the water).
There are huge homes on either side of this cottage and one of the neighbors felt the need to put up a sign near our beach access path to inform us that we were to stay off the beach area in front of his house, which seemed odd since no one was at the home all week.
We will definitely re-book this cottage again!
Incredible location and views!!
This home is just as advertised!! It is not large and fancy like most of Casey Key. If you are looking for a laid back spot that comes with a great value, this is it. For its location, it is a great price.
This beach house has everything one needs for a relaxing vacation. The views are unbeatable. Close to Venice and Sarasota, there are so many activities, shopping, restaurants, etc. close by. Tampa International Airport is only 1 hour 15 minutes away.
The owner is very easy to work with and very accommodating.
I would highly recommend and I hope to return soon!!
Relaxing sunset view, private beach.
Our extended family had a great Christmas week at this beach cottage. The bathrooms and kitchen have been updated. The views are spectacular of the Gulf. Great walking and biking on Casey Key should you choose to rent. We had a young child and the house worked fine.
New washer and dryer were appreciated. New Publix over the bridge with exceptional service.
Absolutely wonderful beach vacation!
We have been to beaches up and down the gulf coast and the Atlantic coast...but Casey Key and this beach house really captured our hearts! The house was perfectly situated on the very private beach. We loved the screened in porch and were able to eat all of our meals while seeing the waves crash on the rocks! The house was very well maintained and had been upgraded with some nice features. Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to visit again! Thank you so much!
Walk five minutes over the 'Flying Bridge' to Blackburn Point Marina and Casey Key Fish House- great seafood! Sarasota and Venice with dining, shopping and museums are nearby. Take long walks and go shell collecting. Relax on your own romantic private beach. And every evening enjoy the famous sunsets.
