Great time of R & R
Very clean, had all the comforts of home & loved the layout of the cabin. Only negatives were the one lane road up the mountain to the cabin & the internet service was not good nor was I able to figure out the tv. I’m not electronic savvy lol. But I go what I went for, plenty of rest & relaxation!!!
Thank you for the kind words. The road going in is narrow which we are fortunate that there is only two part time residents above us and unfortunately the only internet currently available is satellite which isn’t the best. We have been told that data is planned on our area in the near future. I knew that when we choose the property, but with the view and privacy we were happy to trade slow internet.. We look forward to having you back.
The cabin was beautiful and very cozy. We enjoyed our stay and hope to make it back up this way again.
It was a quiet & quaint little place off and nestled into the mountains. Breath taking views and a beautiful home. We can’t wsit to read visit!
Thank you so much for your kind words. We look forward to having you back!
Not What I expected
When we got there we had to wash the dishes, they were dirty. When I contacted the owner his reply was I will let my cleaners know. The downstairs lights did not work and when I contacted the owner he said he will let his cleaners know. There was no glasses to drink out of. The sheets were sandy and we had to wash them to use them. There was no lamps so the downstairs was dark and we could not read upstairs due to the poor lighting. The advertisement said easy access road, as we got there a car was coming down and I had to back all of the way down the driveway onto a major road so they could come out, the drive is about a 30 degree hill. The advertisement said a large movie collection, most cases were empty and the ones there were mainly kids movies. The advertisement says you can see the wildlife but the weeds are so high all you could see was the cabin below us and foliage. All in all, it is a nice cabin, we just wished it had been clean, lights working and it was as the reviews said. I have stayed in many cabins in Pigeon Forge and I had assumed that the owners always used high quality sheets and towels, my mistake.
While reading this review, please consider all my other reviews which praise my great cleaning company’s performance in keeping the cabin exceptionally clean and the great location and view. We pride ourselves in serving our guests as well as we possibly can to make their stay memorable. I will admit a light bulb in one of the bedrooms went out during Mrs. Holcombs’ stay, however the other scathing comments are simply misrepresented. In two years I have never had a complaint about the location of our cabin or the cleanliness. Unfortunately Mrs. Holcomb was almost two hours late in checking out causing my cleaning company to be off schedule and I had to contact her and remind her of the check out time, clearly stated in the house rules and she apparently got upset. I was very surprised when reading this review as there was absolutely no negative conversation during her stay.
We enjoyed getting away from the hustle of life in this beautiful little cabin!
It's a nice cabin in a great location
