If you want to go local and authentic Tex-Mex, a block or so over on Brooklyn is Pete’s Tako House ( where later in the day you can get Margaritas and beer.) Nearby is Wyndham Garden on the Riverwalk with its Jazz Cafe serving breakfast. For a more upscale treat, a few blocks in front of the Casa, in the center of the Pearl Brewery retail and dining complex, is the highly praised Bakery Lorraine, along with several dozen other restaurants, a farmer's market on week-ends, and the unique Hotel Emma, serving breakfast.

At your San Antonio home, guests will be given a unique code to the Casa Centro which is a completely updated and refurbished 1-story cottage, with central heat and air conditioning, new kitchen appliances, dishwasher and new full size washer/dryer. The Living Room and all three bedrooms have new, Flat Screen TV’s with Spectrum cable, Roku, Netflix, and Amazon. The Casa has a covered front porch, a covered side deck, a brick patio, fenced yard, mature trees and off street parking for one car.
The two spacious front bedrooms have a full master bath between them with new fixtures, tile & lighting and designer soap and shampoo. Each bedroom has new, comfortable, king size beds and a large closets with storage for suitcases on top. The bathroom has plenty of fresh bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, soap, extra toilet paper, iron, small ironing board, and laundry hamper. The smaller, 3rd bedroom is has an antique armoire and antique secretarial writing desk, and a twin bed that can be folded into a cabinet when not in use.
The new sofa in the living room folds out to a premium queen size bed. There is also a sleeping - working room in the back, off the kitchen with a work desk, and access to Wifi and Internet, armoire/storage cabinet for hanging or placing clothing and other items and an attractive cabinet that lets down into a comfortable bed for an extra guest or child.

Mild fall and spring weather invite you to enjoy the outdoors. For Christmas and the colder winter months, your own special music and, perhaps, a glass of wine make for a beautiful, cozy and relaxing evening. Warm throws are waiting in the bedroom closet.
The same family has owned this home for generations although it is now used exclusively for vacation rentals.
