Tastefully furnished apartment, directly located at the Royal Park and the River Thames
Bardsley Lane where the apartment is situated is a newly built development in the centre of Greenwich, adjacent to the Royal Park and the River Thames. Thanks to its location this apartment is an ideal starting point for excursions to all major tourist sites in and around London.
The apartment with a living space of 80 m² is spacious and equipped with high-quality furnishing. It can accommodate up to six persons. The large living room is divided into a cosy seating area with a sofa bed for two persons, TV and DVD-player as well as the adjacent kitchen with dining area. The modern kitchen is fully equipped. There are two bedrooms. The first bedroom disposes of a king-size bed with en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The second bathroom is equipped with a bathtub.
If you travel by car, you can park your car at the property manager who will take you to the apartment.
Please note that this apartment is on the second floor with no lift available. A WLAN internet access is available.
Greenwich offers everything for a perfect stay. Restaurants, bars and shops are right next to the apartment. The railway station and the „Riverbus“ are both within a few minutes’ walk. And from the nearest tube station Cutty Sark (DLR) which is just around the corner you can start your sightseeing trip.
This apartment is very convenient to the Maritime Museum in Greenwich and the Cutty Sark. It's extremely convenient for the DLR transport into London. The apartment was spotless and spacious, perfect for relaxing after a days sightseeing or, in our case having run the London Marathon. It has everything you need for preparing your own meals or you can eat out at one of Greenwich's local cafes or restaurants on your doorstep. It's central location within Greenwich made us feel very much part of the city. Breakfast at Bill's just round the corner on Nelson Street is a must. Jouir de.
Fantastic apartment. My daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons had a wonderful time. With two bedrooms, two baths and a very comfortable sofa bed (I am speaking from personal experience) it provided for all our needs. Location is very close to transportation (the tube) and convenient to shops, pubs, restaurants and landmarks (Cutty Sark, Maritime Museum, Greenwich Park). We were met by the landlord and were shown how to operate everything. Any questions we had at a later time were answered swiftly. It's a very well-maintained property and if we ever visit again, we will be sure to try to stay here.
l'appartement est très bien situé pour un séjour en famille à Londres
Il est spacieux et confortable, et Michel est toujours disponible si nous avons besoin de renseignements complémentaires
c'est vraiment une adresse à tester et à recommander par la suite

What makes this place special in addition to its great location just steps away from the DLR transit line, the Cutty Sark and Greenwich Park, is that owners Michel and Trevor are so easy to work with. The flat is well equipped for a couple or family as a restful home base for exploring London. This is the third time we have rented a flat from them, and everything has always been as promised. It is the first place we check for availability when we travel to London. Highly recommended.
The apartment was much more spacious than we expected and beautifully kept. Michel met us when we arrived and showed us round. It was clean and comfortable (although the bed settee in the lounge was not the best thing for a good night's sleep - a thicker mattress might help.)
It was well equipped with everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this property without reservation. Even with six of us in the apartment, we never felt overcrowded. The table opens out to seat six comfortably. (There are extra chairs in the bedrooms.)
While we were there, there were a couple of plumbing issues - nobody's fault and certainly not a lack of maintenance - Michel was very quick in sorting things out and more than helpful.
The apartment is very near the centre of Greenwich and convenient for central London. It is far enough away from the main road to be private and less noisy.
We enjoyed the beautiful architecture of Greenwich and would recommend the nearby Painted Hall and the Maritime museum. The Thames Clipper is a great way to take a trip on the Thames and less pricey than pleasure boats. The DLR is a relief after the crowded and hot Tube, although it was a while before we noticed there wasn't a driver! We also went on the Emirates cable car from beside the O2 in North Greenwich, which was brilliant fun.
We had a really enjoyable stay - it felt like a home from home (although probably shinier than our real home!) The only thing we really struggled with was the heat - being on the top floor and obviously well-insulated meant that it was very difficult to get the apartment cooler. Maybe a fan would be a good idea? Thanks again, Michel.
Greenwich is located on the banks of the Thames and is 15 min away from the centre of London and 10 min away from Canary Wharf by the various means of public transport (train, metro, and river bus). It is a site listed in the Unesco World Heritage, famous for its architecture, its royal park, its restaurants, its charming pubs, and its nice markets.
