Relaxation and interest
Very tranquil and beautiful setting, close to town amenities and also nature, best of both worlds!
A Brilliant two night stay
The property is set in a very picturesque setting , with a long driveway past some beautiful properties , the lake alongside the driveway is idyllic and the whole area is extremely peaceful , we stayed in chalet number 2 , which was very cosy and well equipped, everything was spotless and the stay was very relaxing , the only couple of points we felt could be improved on were, the signpost off the main road was very hard to find !! We went up the road several times before spotting it after following the directions in email , that said the postcode is accurate when in a Sat Nav , The other point referred to upstairs in the bedroom , the bed was very high and very comfortable but there was no bedside cabinets of any descript to place Glass of water or reading book , there was no clothes hanging space and no chair or table light for the dressing table ... that said we would 120% come back and stay here again
We found the location ideal for Goodwood.
On arrival, the key to the chalet was in the door. There was no interaction with the owner or anyone else, this suited us.
The chalet was clean but not spotless. The bedroom was bigger than I expected.
Secure and private grounds.
The only issue we had were people talking outside, extremely loudly, in the early hours, almost every night.
Absolutely no consideration for anyone else.
I would only stay here again as a last resort.
I am so sorry I was not there to meet you I am away in the states on business.
We have 4 properties at Northlands and this week is an extremely busy week with glorious Goodwood, so we are fully booked - I can only apologise for the noice the other guests were making, we do ask all guests make no noice after 10 pm as a courtesy to other guests staying.
We stayed here for 6 nights to attend a family wedding. The bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed. The apartment was adequate for our needs but in future we would book The Cottage as this had a lot more room. Having lived in Chichester for over 45 years, I can vouch that this is ideally located for walking the South Downs, exploring the coast, Fishbourne, Chichester and surrounding towns such as Arundel. You will need a car and be aware that the A27 can get very busy. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions. Thank you.
Really nice place
So many things to see in& around the area if you don't mind driving for 15 mins or so .
We had a brilliant time we really enjoyed ourselves. Great place to cycle around.
Thank you for staying with us and I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back soon
The property is located on the private estate of Northlands Farm. A beautiful private setting overlooking lakes and woodland within the security of gates and 18 acres of fencing. The Roman city of Chichester with its imposing 1000 year old cathedral is one of the finest settings on the South Coast.
Chichester is located next to Goodwood with facilities such as the motor circuit, Glorious Goodwood (horse racing) and Aerodrome. World famous events such as 'The Revival' and 'The Festival of speed' are some of the most visited festivals in the world.
Chichester is set back from the Solent, the UK's most popular sailing area, shielded from the channel by the Isle of Wight. Ferries to the Isle of Wight run from nearby Portsmouth and can take you & your car for a delightful day trip.
Portsmouth is the historic home of the Royal Navy. Visit the 'Historic Dockyard' to view the famous 'Mary Rose', King Henry VIII's 500 year old flagship or 'The victory', Lord Nelsons historic flagship which is the only survivor of the Battle of Trafalgar.
Brighton is only a short drive down the coast and is one of Britains most beautiful seaside towns with the famous 'Lanes'. Pubs, Clubs & Shops are plentiful and you can visit the famous 'Brighton Pier'.
