This being our first time staying at Camp Liberty I have to say it was certainly was all that it claims to be! Absolutely wonderful week spent with friends and family. The accommodations were perfect for our group. The lake was splendid, the house was spacious and provided enough amenities that made it feel like a true vacation home. The privacy of the property is one I'd say is hard to find on such a beautiful clean lake. We many days of kayaking, paddle boarding, boating and fishing. Our dog "Piggy" was the star of the week. He could not get enough swimming and jumping of the dock. At night we enjoyed the camp fire and playing many games on the large deck. I will add that a second refrigerator for such large groups would be nice to have. All in all we can't wait to come again. Great place to make memories and take naps!
I have spent many summer holidays at Camp Liberty and have thoroughly enjoyed every single one. The house sleeps many so is perfect for a big group. It is equipped with everything one could need for a lakeside retreat and is set in the most beautiful surrounding.
Waking up to a still, quiet lake every morning is magical and by the afternoon it is perfect for canoeing, water skiing etc. The nearby trails are fun and easy to explore for those wanting to hike and the nearby town is a fun place to visit with all the essentials.
A truly amazing place and one I hope to visit for many more summers to come.
Also....for those who are keen on running, a run to Farmington and back is just over a half marathon!!
Camp Liberty is perfect for any size group wanting to soak up nature in this beautiful part of America. I had a surreal feeling countless times whilst being on the lake or looking out to it, in the still of the morning or as the sun set over it. It is a majestic place!
Whilst set apart, the house is within easy reach of its nearest town with a range of services. It is also nearby to incredible views over the area. The house is such that it immediately feels like home. It is extremely cosy, warm and well equipped in terms of kitchen equipment, bedding, blankets, and much more!
I had the privilege of staying here with some of my closest friends and I couldn't have thought of a better location. The house caters for many and allows space for plenty to relax and find refuge. The lake itself is stunning and was perfect for me in the morning, you can escape and spend time alone or you can explore with a big group. The house has such a versatile nature, I cannot recommend it enough!
We had the most amazing time at Camp Liberty. The house is amazingly comfortable and well equipped. The two verandas are the most wonderful places to relax and enjoy stunning views of the lake. The setting is breathtakingly beautiful, everything I imagined and more. We couldn't recommend it highly enough as a place to get away from it all, enjoy nature and muck around in boats !
Camp Liberty ticks all the boxes! A cosy cabin in the woods with breath-taking views of Clearwater Lake. I had a fantastic time there and found it impossible to peel myself away!
