Built in 2002, this two story home features a cozy loft overlooking the great room, hardwood and tile floors, a walk-out basement, deck and patio lakeside, and a roomy back porch. A back yard provides a spacious play area.
Located on a quiet beach road in the heart of the Finger Lakes, this lake front home is within easy driving distance of shopping, entertainment, state parks, wineries, breweries and historical sites. Popular wine and boat tours are available in the area.
The beach, with a dock, deck, and electric boat hoist (4000 lb. limit) is a great place for swimming, boating, fishing and relaxing.
We are from Geneva and have lived here for most of our adult lives. We live two doors from the rental and are available should anything be needed.
Gerald Lynn purchased this house in 1998
The property is fairly large with plenty of room for outdoor activities. The house was built in 2002 and has all the features needed for a year-round house.
We had such a great week, did a lot of hiking, kayaking, sailing, wineries and relaxing. The lake water was great had a picnic on our catamaran (tied up), and swimming.
The home is immaculate and very comfortable. Don't sit on the sofa at the end of the day, you will be asleep in a heartbeat.
Thank you Jerry and Penny we always feel special.
We just got back from a great vacation. The house was in a great location (close to the town and wineries but when you drive down the back road it makes you feel like you are arriving in a private area secluded from the outside). The house was very nice and had everything you could want. We stayed with our 1 and 3 year old children who both loved it. So much to do within a short driving distance. Our friends with their 2 kids stayed at the house next door so it was perfect. I have been coming to various houses and lakes in the finger lake region but this was my favorite so far. We definitely plan to come back. The owners are nice and helpful. I told my wife this is where I would like to retire.
This is a very nice, very clean, very quiet and exceptionally well furnished home. We really enjoyed our week here. We were very comfortable and were really able to relax and unwind. We enjoyed the lake and some nice hikes and bike rides in the area. We loved the convenience of the boat dock/lift. Our favorite hike was in Watkins Glen State Park and our favorite bike ride was the Katherine Valley Trail. If you are planning a vacation in the Finger Lakes region, we highly recommend staying here.
We just got back from our stay on Lake Seneca. This home is a quiet location on the lakefront within 10 minutes of Geneva. We heard no trains on this side of the lake. Our two sons (two and four years old) loved the loft with the two bedrooms upstairs and especially the bunkbed room. There is a nice TV sitting area up in the loft to read them bedtime stories comfortably. This home is newer and has beautiful wooden floors with area rugs. Jerry and Penny the owners live closeby and readily available for local advice. My kids enjoyed the campfire ring down by the private boat dock where we roasted marshmellows. A well maintained home with a great quiet location. If you have young kids, take them to the sprayground in the NY state park 10 minutes away in Geneva on the lakeshore. It's only $7 per car! It was nice to have the Queen bedroom on the main floor next to the bathroom. Nice home.
We loved it so much here last spring we returned again this spring. The house is even nicer than it looks online. The owners are very helpful. The cottage is in perfect condition. There are a few decent restaurants right in Geneva, no more than 10 or 15 minutes away. We like the Crow's Nest which is five minutes away and right on the lake. The waterfront park in Geneva is a great place to go for a stroll after dinner or get an ice cream. Definitely planning to return.
The home was homey and met our needs. Jerry and Penny were great hosts who shared their insights on sights to see and places to go. They knew the restaurants well and made good recommendations
The Finger Lakes region has many state parks, art festivals, wine trails, breweries and historic sites. There are all types of water activities as we are in the heart of a beautiful lake region. Lake cruises are a popular activity. Restaurants are in abundance and shopping is great at the nearby outlet mall or in the larger cities of Rochester and Syracuse. We have a rural atmosphere with the advantage of nearby city activities.
