SPECIAL - True Ski In/Ski Out- Weeknights $149.00 the rest of the ski season

Bedrooms 1
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 2 - 4 nights

About the property

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-6)

This one bedroom, one bath Ski Trail condo lets you literally SKI IN AND SKI OUT, JUST A FEW FEET FROM YOUR FRONT DOOR. Park the car, forget about the shuttle, and stop carrying your equipment hundreds of yards. We have two boot dryers/heaters for your use. (And the secure locker just outside the front door lets you leave your gear outside the unit.)

The living room features a large leather sectional sofa, real wood-burning fireplace with gas starter, and a 55-inch wall-mounted HD flat panel TV with HD programming and a DVD/DVR (Like Tivo). We also provide high speed internet access via a high speed cable connection and Wi-Fi.

The kitchen includes a large refrigerator with ice maker, gas stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. You can eat at the pass-through bar between the kitchen and living room, or use the table, which can accommodate four.

In addition to the queen-size bed in the bedroom, the living room sofa easily converts to a queen-size sleeper. Two foam sleeping pads are also available for floor use, and are great for kids. We have added a queen size air bed. Very comfortable.

Your stay will also give you access to (and gated, private parking at) the recreation center ($2.00 per person per day), which has a complete workout gym, an outdoor heated lap pool open year-round, and three large hot tub spas available only to Ski Trail owners and guests.

Epic Ski Weekend

  • 5 of 5

This place is as perfect as perfect gets or a ski weekend. Excellent parking in front and the back windows look at the Condo Trail. Enjoy your cup of coffee while you wait for the Gondola to start running and be the first out there. The bedroom is in the front of the house and very quiet. Everything is in new working order. Great new big TV with full cable for evenings relaxing. The couch can convert to a large bed for kids or 2 couples. The Northstar Village has everything you could want as well. Skating rink, full gym, restaurants as simple as pizza and as fancy as steak houses.

I'll be back for sure. Tom is a great host!

decent nightly rate, but expected more with the additional cleaning fee

  • 4 of 5

Tom was responsive and helpful. The condo was in a nice area, and there is a run adjacent to the house that you can very quickly ski/board down to Northstar Village, which was very convenient. When we entered, the living space seemed relatively clean, but there were a few issues that we felt the cleaning service could have taken care of. My guess is that they didn't vacuum before we got there because I felt several large crumbs/things under my feet as I walked around in the hallway between the living room and kitchen. The couch was not that comfortable, and the pull-out bed had not been cleaned at all after the previous renter. The sheets were still on and had food and some other stains on it, so we folded it back up and didn't even bother using it. The dish soap dispenser was also broken. Aside from those easily fixes, there was also an intermittent loud noise coming from the refrigerator/kitchen area, and hot water seemed to be limited. I would avoid taking back to back showers, and instead wait some time to allow the hot water to re-accumulate. We actually ended up only staying 1 out of the 2 nights booked, which was mostly due to weather concerns, but I think we were glad to sleep in our own bed that night anyway.

Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

The best thing about this condo is easy access to the slopes, Just a few steps out the door, put on your skiis and go. The condo itself is very nice and comfortable. The heater works great, which in single digit weather is rather important. I think the frig is on its last leg and the shower head could stand replacement, but these are minor issues. I would, without reservation, stay here the next time I can get away for a few days of skiing.

We had a great stay in this place. It's very comfortable and convenient.

  • 5 of 5

It was our first time in this area and we loved it. There's a shuttle that will bring you to the village and back. There's also a sledding area close to the unit and it's free. A good size kitchen to cook your favorite meal. We used the wood burning fireplace and enjoyed it. The road was a bit icy and slippery when we were there due to bad weather but we managed. Having a four wheel drive vehicle helped.

Great location and affordable

  • 2 of 5

We booked for two nights, but only stayed one. Pros: location, price, and very responsive and helpful owner. Cons: the place was filthy when we got there - the toilet had pee on the seat, there was dried cheese on the kitchen table, the carpet was gritty and dirty, and the sofa bed was also broken. All these things weren't deal breakers, but the place smelled strongly like cigarette smoke, so much so that there was lingering smoke all the luggage we brought even after airing out the place for an afternoon and that was the deciding factor for cutting our trip short. If I had known that it was a smoking property I would not have booked.
