A rustic elegance pervades this expansive residence, sited in the foothills of the Teton Range. True to its name, this Western refuge sits nestled within pines and aspens, within sight of the local landmark that inspired its name: the treed terrain of Four Pines, a beloved destination within Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
Set within Shooting Star—a luxury development in Teton Village.
Context aside, the house itself delights guests. The front porch, defined by a chinked enclave, greets guests graciously with a log bench and barnwood door. The foyer welcomes with an antique chest of drawers and chic coat tree. Just beyond, a decorative console, accented by brushed silver branches and topped by sleek lamps.
The guest bedroom continues the subtle palette found throughout the home. A leather settee, bison photography, accent pillows and cozy throw atop the queen bed. The ensuite bath offers a tile shower and double vanity. The second downstairs bedroom offers an upholstered bedframe, feather watercolor paintings, fur footstools and an ensuite bath. The junior master suite echoes the master with mountain vistas visible from the queen bed. Equine photography decorates the walls and a pair of studded armchairs invite relaxation.
On the second floor landing, a table allows for a work interlude, while the TV induces lounging. A style infusion comes in the form of a fur-topped stools tucked beneath a sleek console with horn legs.
Truly open in concept and subtle in palette, the great room encompasses the kitchen, dining and living areas, and even draws in the drama outdoors through the picture windows that encircle the space. The living area centers around the stone fireplace, flanked by two studded sofas and a pair of plaid armchairs—all atop a graphic cowhide rug. A candelabra sits on the mantel and a TV is tucked into the corner. The dining table seats 10 in upholstered chairs. Dangling from the cathedral ceiling, an antler chandelier hits an authentic note. Overlooking the dining area, the kitchen carters to gourmet chefs with its tawny granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Outside, a balcony boasting a circular table enables meals with a view.
The master bedroom beckons with its velvet duvet enshrouding the king bed, backed by a leather headboard. A pair of textured armchairs makes for a warm fireside moment, as does the chesterfield bench bordering the bed. The ensuite bath offers a tub, glass shower, granite double vanity and panoramic views.
While the abundant domestic diversions could keep guests busy inside, a Four Pines stay would be incomplete without venturing outside. A bike path borders the property, allowing for car-free travel between top spots including the southern entrance to Grand Teton National Park. Downtown Jackson is a short drive away, as is the hamlet of Wilson. Whether fly fishing or horseback riding, mountain biking or backcountry skiing, this Shooting Star retreat allows you to choose your own adventure—with the help of TCCG’s Concierge team.
