Great area and beautiful home!

  • 4 of 5

Livio's place is in a great area, very artsy and hip, and near all the attractions. The colloseum is 5 minutes walking distance. The Trevi Fountain and Pantheon are about 30-40 minutes away, walking. Capitol square designed by Michelangelo is about 20 minutes away, walking. Another fun form of transportation is a vespa, which you can rent at Bici & Baci on Via Cavour. You can find a lot of great info in a book Livio has called Rome. A great app for Taxi is "mytaxi" it's cheaper than uber, Livio will provide the number to call a cab.

Just a note that this place is on the 4th floor and does not have an elevator.

Overall my husband and I loved the location and enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Perfect location and comfortable apartment

  • 4 of 5

I am so happy we chose to stay in this apartment. The Monti district was so fun to explore. Although it does get tourist visits, it has an authentic aura. The area has many small shops and restaurants with an artistic bent. I always felt safe day or night.

The apartment was very quiet, near the end of a dead-end street. It was very spacious and had most of the items we needed to be comfortable and make some meals. The bathroom was a bit cramped, and I think you need to watch your use of the hot water (or it might run out).

Rome is a very walkable city. We were able to get from the train station to the apartment easily, and then explored on foot to almost all the sites.

Our host was very nice and helpful. Livio was able to help us with an early check-in and gave us suggestions for places to visit and tips on how to make our trip easier.

I would recommend this apartment to others!

Very nice flat in the heart of Rome!

  • 5 of 5

It was a nice, big and clean flat in the centre of Rome. Livio helped us a lot and answered our questions kindly. We had a very nice week in Rome, I will recommend this flat to our friends, too. Thank you, Livio!!!

Awesome and amazing stay!

  • 5 of 5

I really loved this little apartment! It was right in the middle of the Monti district, Rome's oldest district. It made us feel like locals, we were right in the middle of it all. In a two block area there are about 25 restaurants, at least two gelato places, and many little markets! It is only a short walk to the Cavour metro stop to take you anywhere you want to go, and a 5 minute walk to the Colosseum. Even though it was a busy area it was nice and quiet due to being at a dead end street, slept like a baby. Beds are comfortable, shower is very small, kitchen adequate, what more is needed? The only thing I disliked about the place was walking up the 3 flights of small stairs to get up to the apartment, other than that it is perfect! Would definitely stay there again!

The Best Location / Priced Well

  • 4 of 5

This apartment is in an excellent location and you can walk to many of the attractions from here. You get a good taste of the local culture in this ancient neighbourhood. Lots of restaurants, markets and stores very closeby. This location is 5 star but the actual apartment is about a 3. We knew there was going to be lots of stairs but it's actually a 36 step winding circular (narrow) staircase. Lots of luggage and handicapped travellers, do not consider this apartment. A couple things need some "attention" like the shower , couch (uncomfortable) and new pillows are needed for the bed (for sure). Livio was super helpful with all our correspondence prior to arrival and during our stay. His son picked us up at the airport and gave us a "tour" on the way to the apartment. He is studying law and is a very personable young man. The rooms are quite large (except the bathroom) and the large window in the living area makes you feel outside. Even though you are in the middle of everything the apartments location is very quiet as its situated on a little dead end street and feels very safe. I would not hesitate in staying here again.

Nice apartment with great location

  • 4 of 5

We loved our stay in this apartment. It was larger than most of the other apartments we stayed in while visiting Europe, with a separate bedroom, spacious living room, and kitchen. We were very grateful for the washing machine. The bed was comfortable. We appreciated the fans, to make up for the lack of AC (very normal in Europe). The location is great with a lively piazza just down the block. The apartment is very close to the Colosseum, and within walking distance to all the major sites.

The host was very nice and met us at the flat. He gave us a map and recommendations of things to do and places to eat. He explained the neighborhood.

The only minor downside to this apartment was the bathroom. The room was clean, but the shower was extra tiny. The curtain kept blowing into the shower, cramping the space even more.

However, we loved our stay at this apartment and would definitely recommend it for others.
