Owner's Response: Molly & Solly have returned to holiday at our house for the past four years. They have been ideal renters. They always leave the house as they find it and they must enjoy thier stay as they are looking to book next year. We make improvements to the house every season to make staying at the house more enjoyable. Look forward to seeing you next year.

A property with everything whatever your age.

Our family group was made up of six adults, one toddler and one young baby, three generations. Ths property accommodated all of us easily, having three ensuites and one bathroom. The indoor pool area was great if the weather was rainy or too hot! The bouse was well equipped and the best one we've stayed in, in France, and we've stayed in a few! The accommodation was laid out well and thoughtfullh furnished and accessorised. Great that that thick fluffy towels were provided. Loved the nearby lake at Ploèrmel!

The perfect family holiday venue!!!

This was everything we had hoped for and more! From the moment we arrived we all knew from the look on each others faces that we were going to thoroughly enjoy our stay at the Bellevue. Denis and Jean were waiting for us upon our arrival to show us around the property, gave us some very useful hints and tips and are not far away should you need them. The property is ideally located being only 10 minutes by car from the beautiful medieval town of josselin, 10 minutes from lake Taupont which offers water sports and a man made beach (ideal for our kayak, the boys absolutely loved it) And only an hour away from the many coastal beaches of Lorient which are well worth a visit. The house is more than accomodating, there were 9 of us and we never felt on top of each other at any point during the week. Very comfortable beds and a lovely nights sleep had by all. I was really pleased with the way Denis and jean have kept this house tradtionally french with lovely furniture, wood burner, shuttered windows etc creating a real homely feel. It really made a difference to our stay and was much appreciated. The facilities were second to none! The poolhouse contains a large heated pool (much bigger than it seems in the photos) Many a happy hour was spent in there having fun playing table tennis, table football and pool upstairs on the mezzanine lounge area. The comfortable leather sofa and chairs up there were nice to relax in too with some very reasonbly priced wine after a hard day sunbathing! The changing room in the pool house is ideal along with the utility space(washing machine and tumble dryer, extra kitchen area which is great when having a BBQ outside on the large patio complete with table and chairs. The swings and trampoline went down a storm with our 6 year old and incredibly the house comes with its very own football field with stunning views across the countryside ( and away from windows and cars) which our teenage boys went crazy about. I actually laughed out loud as i could not believe it!This is also a good spot to catch the last of the sun early evening as well. Is there ANYTHING Denis and Jean have not thought of here? This house, its location, and all it has to offer is truly amazing and the best family holiday we have had so far so we would not hesitate to recommend this to others. A big thank you to Denis,Jean,Pam and her husband who dealt with our booking and were extremely helpful throughout. Au revoir for now and see you next year, Lisa and Steve

My family has just had a brilliant holiday here. There were 8 of us with ages ranging from 7 to 90, everyone was happy. The pool and games area was 1st class, the kids (and adults) loved it. There is a playing field through a gate at the rear of the garden along with a screened off sunbathing area, lots of places in the well kept garden to sun bathe or just sit with a drink and a book, also kids swings and a trampoline. There are lots of bikes in the barn to cater for most sizes and very quiet safe roads locally to cycle or walk. The kids were never bored and slept soundly in the comfortable beds as did we all. An electric gate keeps children and cars secure and saves you having to get in and out of the car to open the gates. Very large parking area. We used the solar heating in the pool and it was quite adequate, actually very warm when we first arrived after a sunny day although if the weather was bad you might want the extra electrical heating for it. We hired towels which were plentiful and good quality, well worth it. One of the double bedrooms leads off of the upstairs tv room which has a good quality sofa bed quite suitable for children or young adults, we also found it useful for the kids to have a separate room to watch kids tv whilst the grown ups used the one downstairs. Although the house is in the countryside and quite a long way from shops etc you could have an excellent holiday without leaving the premises. There are 2 barbeques in the barn, lots of fridges inside and out and a very good laundry area with everything you need. The only slight downside was the 3 or 4 steep steps up to the kitchen door which might be a problem for anyone with severe mobility issues, the steps to the other door into the lounge were not quite so steep, also a couple more fly screens, an electric shower in the poolhouse and some roller blinds on the upstairs double bedroom windows would be appreciated but this is really nit-picking. Loved this house, the kids voted it the best we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in some good ones. Will definitely try to hire it again in the future and have already recommended it to friends and family. Wish it was mine! The owners are very helpful and friendly and are on hand should they be needed.
