Cozy Apartment in downtown area, Parking Garage, Secluded Garden and rental car.

The apartment is located in a quiet downtown area right at the end of Reykjavik's main shopping street, Laugavegur and the main city bus station, Hlemmur. Rental car available. Ideal for couples.

Also available: LUXURY PICKUP FROM KEFLAVIK INT. AIRPORT AROUND THE CLOCK. From the airport to the door in 45 minutes.

The apartment was updated in April '15. The update includes:

- A new 48" Samsung Smart TV

- External blutooth speakers

- 2TB media library with movies TV shows and music

- New cabinet

- iphone/smart phone blue tooth connection

- Expresso/coffee maker

- New and bigger kitchen table and kitchen chairs for 4-5 people

- new living room carpet and much more.

I also offer a rental car for a very good price.

Most of Reykjavik's best known restaurants, bars, cafés and designer shops are within 3-20 minute walking distance. Also in a walking distance there are the main church, an indoor/outdoor swimming pools, theaters, cinemas, and galleries. Reykjavik's shopping mall; Kringlan, is also within walking distance. Only 2 min. walk to supermarket open 24/7 and a Bonus or Kronan low price supermarkets. Only 5 min. to the seafront. Hotel Klettur is right next door, for day trip pickups. Also note that Reykjavik's main hospital is within walking distance.

There is a stunning view from the apartment, since it's on the seventh and top floor of the building. It has a kitchen with everything you need to make a simple breakfast or a romantic dinner. A bedroom with a double bed and large wardrobe. Living room with TV, DVD player and stereo, a very comfortable double sleeper/sofabed that sleeps two. I can put in a mattress for an extra child to sleep on. Bathroom with a shower and balcony with a BBQ. There is a wash room in the building and access to a private, very well taken care of, closed to the public, sheltered garden, for building residents and guest only. Access to private parking garage comes with the apartment. I can have the rental car waiting for you in the garage when you arrive.

I live only 10 minutes away, so if something comes up I will be there in no time. There is also a janitor in the building to take care of things and security cameras connected to my TV, in case of someone rings the door phone. You see who it is on your TV.

The drive to Reykjavik from Keflavik airport should take around 45 minutes. There is a Flybus or AirportExpress bus that takes you to town once you arrive. You can get a Hotel drop off that will take you to Hotel Klettur, right next door to the apartment. The actual address is Asholt 2, 105 Reykjavik, apartment 702. A taxi from the airport should take about 40 minutes.

Just great!

Bjorn's place is so nice! It is walking distance from downtown Reykjavik and yet far enough for a peaceful and quiet stay. The apartment is cute and clean. Bjorn is very accomodating and available. We highly recommend it.

Perfect Location!

We booked this property knowing virtually nothing about Reykjavik, it was kind of a shot in the dark. What a good shot it was, especially for being on a budget! Bjorn was great from the beginning, easy communication, easy access once we got there, great directions. Everything was so smooth. The location was perfect, we walked to everything, everyday, and it was just far enough removed that it wasn't too noisy or busy with traffic. The view was beautiful and the apartment itself super cute. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat if I ever make it back to Iceland, it truly couldn't have been easier, thanks Bjorn!

Fantastic view, very clean and quiet, even being on a busy street and with construction going on behind!!! The Master bed is very comfortable- rooms are small! And the fridge is a bar fridge and doesn't have a freezer but grocery stores are VERY CLOSE, and short walks to very good resteraunts!!

This was the perfect place!

I adore this apartment! It was perfect for two people and could not have been in a better location. We could walk to the grocery store and we were on the main shopping and restaurant/bar street of Reykjavik, but just enough away from all the noise and hustle. It was a five minute walk to all the shops and restaurants and it was easily walkable to all of downtown, the Harpa, and the museums. Bjorn was extremely responsive to any question and very helpful when we first arrived. He made check in and check out easy! I definitely recommend this rental to anyone going to Reykjavik!

Wonderful simply wonderful

We were met promptly at our agreed pickup location which FlyBus takes you there and the apartment is merely a two minute walk from there.

And, there myself and two children were met by the host and taken into this fantastic apartment - close to the centre and many attractions. As the owner points out - close to supermarkets and also a major bus depot.

Everything was clean and there was even food left in the larder - which helped a great deal - for we arrived 2am (our time) and 7am Reykjavik time. And, our first instinct was to sleep rather than worry about shopping (a google map printout showing the locations of the supermarkets would have been helpful). Although, easy to find, when you are fully awake.

Cooking facilities were excellent. Water pressure and shower temperatures were just right. I strongly endorse and support anyone wishing to stay in Reykjavik to chose this wonderful apartment.

And, lastly but also equally important Bjorn is the most excellent and accommodating of hosts. He was there to make this trip a real pleasure in answering sometimes my redundant questions and requests. Certainly, I would stay there again, if I were to return to Reykjavik...which I do plan to...some day.

Great one bedroom apartment

We enjoyed our stay with Brojn in Reykjavik in July. The apartment was clean and well located close to the old center area where you would eat, walk and shop. The unit had parking and easy to get to from the highways. The unit is one bedroom with a pull out sofa.

The cities biggest church with it's spectacular view over the city and the geothermal swimming pool are must to visit during your stay, not to forget whale watching from the old harbour.
