Isabela is on the Northwest Coast of Puerto Rico known as Porta del Sol, famous for its pristine beaches. Isabela is a small friendly beach town famous for surfing and just 1.45 hour NW of San Juan. If you want to forget about traffic and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and have a great relaxing vacation, you'll love Isabela. With all the beaches and restaurants on the coast, you won't have any reason to leave town. You can explore a new beach everyday, go surfing or just watch the surfers on famous 'Jobos Beach,' go horseback riding, golfing is just 15 minutes away, or just relax in this beautiful apartment in Isabela's newest complex overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. You can dine at a great local restaurant or you can just cross the street and enjoy the live music, the kiosks and a restaurant in the mini-mall.
Isabela Beach Court has 24 hour security, gym, adult & children's pool, tennis courts and a playground for children and best of all its right in front of the beach.
From this airy 1625 sq ft corner apartment you can see the ocean from almost every side and you will sleep to the sounds of the ocean behind you. This beautifully decorated apartment has a full kitchen, dining & living area, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, laundry room, and large balcony with views of the ocean, the surrounding mountains and fishermen's port.
Besides enjoying the constant sound of the ocean you'll enjoy the sounds of the locals singing 'bohemia' on Fri. and Sat. nights. If you're in the cooking mood, you can catch the fishermen in the morning and or just enjoy the fresh fish at 'El Pescador.' One big problem - you'll be dreaming you were here every week.
Smoking permitted in balcony only.
My wife and I had possibly the best vacation of our life staying here. We love Isabela, and we love this complex and this apartment. The apartment is pristine, and Miriam was so good about answering the few questions we had. We have rented condos many times in the past, and Miriam is the friendliest and most considerate owner we've ever dealt with, and we've been lucky enough to have never dealt with a bad one.
We did absolutely no sightseeing! Just long walks on the gorgeous beach, tennis each morning, time in the swimming pool, and lounging in the apartment.
The village square across the street can get a bit loud on the weekends, but we loved it! I can't imagine anyone not having a restorative, relaxing vacation here.
I was immediately impressed with the photos of this property upon my initial search. It seemed spacious, clean, bright, and airy. I pictured myself having my morning coffee on the balcony. I thought it would be a great space for our long overdue family vacation. My conversations with the owner were positive from the onset and afterwards did not hesitate to book this condo for our trip in October. The instructions were explicit with a handful of suggestions of places to eat, shop, and local beaches. Upon our arrival, I was not disappointed. This condo, located in a gated community is well kept and well stocked (pots, pans, dishes, tons of towels, beach toys...). My family and I commenced to enjoy our vacation.
The pool and the surrounding area were great and perhaps because of the time of year of our visit, we practically had it to ourselves. We did not take advantage of the beach across the street as it did not provide enough shade for my elderly father and unfortunately not as nice as Jobos or Montones (local beaches nearby). In addition, we traveled to nearby Crashboat Beach (about 30 minutes away) which is absolutely lovely and worth the ride. While we were happy with our accommodations, I was most impressed with the owner's attentiveness...calling ahead to inform the security staff of our arrival and calling to make sure we everything was ok with the apartment. A personal touch to be appreciated. I would definitely choose this rental again and again and again. Thank you Miriam!!!!
The apartment was great for a family with 2 young boys. It was clean and kid-friendly, with a small playground and pool where the kids could play. The Villa Pesquera nearby has good food at the kiosks, and fresh seafood to bring back and cook yourself, if so inclined. The beach right in front has some high surf, so isn't the best for leasurely swims, but just a short walk takes you to a tidal pool with shallow, calm, sand-bottomed swimming and some good snorkeling (for beginners). View off the balcony is wonderful just like the photo; a great place to read and listen to the waves. The condo complex was clean and well-kept, with friendly security guards who can give directions and recommendations. Night life at the Villa Pesquera can be loud on the weekends.
Ever see those announcer-free Corona beer commercials where two people are sitting on the beach sharing Coronas? Well, they could have recorded 'em here! This location is so sunny & peaceful, very beautiful and the sound of the waves crashing on the beach is simply magnificent! If you come from the airport, stop at the brand new Econo Supermarket on Route 110 the way to the condo and stock up on groceries, deli stuff, tanning products and yes...those Coronas! This condo has a great kitchen and fridge with excellent icemaker. The TV is a very nice HD Sony 32 inch, and you get New York & Chicago satellite Superstations - PLUS internet access. I plan to come back as soon as I can - especially in the winter months!
We stayed in this condo 3/24/10-3/30/10. From the minute of reservation to check out everything was as expected. Everything was like presented online. Condo was nice and clean. There is a nice breeze that comes in thru the balcony door on this 4th floor that puts you right to sleep as you listen to the sound of the ocean waves. A/C was nice and cool in rooms and ceiling fans in dining and living areas kept the nice air flowing. Security and staff were very helpful. There is no need to go far to enjoy the beautiful beach, it's right in front of you. There are kiosks on the beach and music on the weekends that offer you that tropical atmosphere. The pool was nice and clean for a cool dip after a long hot day. Everything was great. Thank You Miriam I will definately consider coming back soon. God Bless!
We've stayed here the last two winters and its been fantastic from every perspective. The condo is huge, and is very clean. Having a full kitchen and washer and dryer is so convenient. I loved being able to go out on the balcony in the mornings to just chill and look at the beautiful ocean view and listen to the waves. The local beaches were great for our family- there are several beaches with shallow pools which are protected from waves by a ring of rocks, and this was perfect for our toddlers. Access to grocery stores, etc in Isabela is convenient- just a couple minutes drive. Isabela also has a cute plaza in the center of town- we often went there for gelato in the evenings. I also appreciated the gated security at the complex, which is very reassuring.
