Live like a Porteño in chic Palermo. With many restaurants, shops and attractions nearby, you'll experience the finest of Buenos Aires.
Located across the street from the Eva Peron Museum, the view from the balcony overlooks the zoo and botanical gardens.
This is a small (600 square feet) luxurious apartment, professionally designed and well appointed in a new building. Please check Availability on the Calendar Below.
Our little apartment is well located to explore Buenos Aires. This quiet neighborhood is steps away from the excitement of everything the city offers.
This is a new listing and we are very proud of how the apartment turned out. Please take a look at the website: baapartment . com for more photos, a description of the neighborhood and more...
We hope you like it.

We first did a lot of research before we selected this apartment and this neighborhood. This was our first trip to Buenos Aires, and we wanted to make good careful decisions. We had the opportunity to spend the last two weeks in this beautiful apartment. There are so many superlatives, we will try to give the highlights in a succinct manner. The apartment is owned by lovely people from the US and communicating with them via e mail and telephone was perfect and convenient as we planned our trip. Their on-site manager Sher was also available any time during our trip for us to answer our questions and he helped us arrange for airport transfers, etc... The building is quiet and the unit was appointed beautifully with chandeliers for lighting, comfortable furniture and one of the "Best" showers. The unit also had a beautiful wrap around outdoor balcony overlooking the neighborhood. Now... the other highlight was the neighborhood. We selected this area because there were beautiful parks nearby. The streets were tree-lined up and down each block, and full of MANY restaurants ranging from a variety of ethnic cuisines, many healthy food options, and authentic Argentine steak options. There were several coffee shops, small markets, fruit stands, flower stands, and small boutiques that make up this very comfortable local neighborhood setting. We felt safe at all hours walking in the neighborhood and always felt at home when we returned from other sections of the city. This area is very centrally located and when we travelled to other sections of Palermo, Recoleta, San Telmo, etc... we were either a short taxi ride or subway or we were able to walk. We cannot give a more glowing review to this overall experience. The best testament is that we will return to this apartment if available anytime and we LOVED and can't wait to return to the neighborhood. It was a perfect experience for us!
My husband and I visit our family in Argentina approximately twice per year and routinely rent apartments there whenever we visit. Out of more than 25 different apartments that I've rented in Buenos Aires, I can say that the process for renting this particular apartment was the easiest and most efficient. I really appreciated that. I also appreciated the ability to pay via credit/debit card without additional fees or hassle. Most Argentine owners or agencies require you to pay in cash with only a small down payment permitted via credit card. This is a huge hassle and a security risk (traveling with so much cash), so this made a great impression.
I also really appreciated the helpful emails I received from the owner and apartment manager. Everyone was on top of the booking, check-in, and check-out process, allowing for a smooth visit.
As for the apartment itself, I think the description listed on VRBO sells it short. It's advertised as small, but I wouldn't really say that. It may not be enormous, but it's plenty big enough for two guests. I wouldn't recommend it for more than two people, but my husband and I had plenty of space. The bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the higher-end sheets and towels that the owners brought from the US. We don't know much about furniture or design, but I could tell that the owners have put a lot of thought (and money) into those elements. We enjoyed them even if we couldn't really appreciate them for what they are.
The location of the apartment was great for our purposes as our family lives in Palermo. All our trips outside the neighborhood were fast and easy using taxis. The location next to the zoo was kind of fun because we could hear the monkeys and even the elephants when standing out on the balcony!
If you have never visited Buenos Aires and don't speak Spanish then you might want to consider staying in a hotel with a concierge and English speaking staff to assist you for your first visit, but otherwise I highly recommend this apartment as a fantastic "home base." It is MUCH cheaper than staying in a five star hotel (which run about U$S 500-750 per night) and is honestly just as nice. Just as a tip, if you enjoy that type of luxury then don't miss afternoon high tea service at the Alvear Palace Hotel or the spa at the Park Hyatt Palacio Duhau. You can combine the benefits of your own private apartment with a five star hotel stay!
Thanks to the owners for a great visit -- we will be back!
This apartment is a gem. It occupies an entire floor, is located on one of the quietest streets in Palermo, and has gorgeous views over the zoo. There are fabulous restaurants within walking distance or a quick five minute cab drive. It is divinely comfortable and very stylishly appointed. It is also very well equipped with cable, internet, free VOIP calls to the US, and a terrific surround sound stereo system. There is even a Nespresso machine. The apartment manager who greeted us was genuinely welcoming, polite and courteous, and provided great tips and local knowledge. Regardless of whether this is your first or tenth visit to BsAs, I strongly recommend staying here.
This a really neat place to stay at while visiting BA. It is beautiful, tastefully decorated and in a great location. A number of good restaurants within walking distance; right beside a park AND Eva Peron's Museum! The owner has an Argentinian representative who greeted us at the apartment and gave us a very useful orientation session. There are a number of travel books on site, annotated with very useful comments about what to see and do in BA. We hope to go back in a few years (once we learn how to Tango!) and THIS is the place we will be returning to. We highly recommend it!
lovely spotless apartment in safe building/ terrific location near lots of parks including the zoo, from where you can hear the lions roar in the morning. lots of unexpected amenities, land line to the us, two cel phones, computer and printer, and best of all a book of the owners' favorite b.a. haunts (including such details as which waiters to request) , maps, and other helpful info, and best best of all, the owners' manager/friend who welcomed us with flowers, chocolate and wine, and provided helpful info about the apartment and the city, and was available for a city tour and to answer questions during our stay. a bit pricey, but as the vrbo ad indicates, worth it.
This apartment is perfect for 1 or 2 people looking for a nice, quiet & safe place to stay in Buenos Aires.
Located in a building with just 1 apartment per floor - you'll rarely see/hear your neighbors. The finishes are similar to what you'd find in a higher end hotel, plus it comes with local cell phones, WiFi, laptop, stereo, free long distance to North America, DVD player, cable tv...
The best part about this apartment is the large sunny balcony with views out to a large park.
I stayed here for almost 3 weeks & highly recommend this property.
