About Brian Quinn

My wife and I are currently retired after 32 years living in the US and Asia working for a large corporation. We had several oceanfront rental properties over the years from cape cod to st. thomas, virgin islands, but now only rent our home in cape cod, the origin and flagship location of our rental business.

Brian Quinn purchased this house in 1992

Why Brian Quinn chose Yarmouth

We grew up in New England and Cape Cod has always held a special place in our hearts. Immediately fell in love with the views and coziness of this home the moment we first walked in the front door. We have made several capital improvements to the house over the years, but hopefully kept the same original beach charm. West Yarmouth was perfect for us as it is so centrally located for activities, restaurants and shopping. In addition, it is a short drive once over the bridge.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Another stay at Upwind, another solitary complaint....our stay was simply too short!. Everything else was perfect. Thank you for opening your immaculate home to us again. And thank you again, for controlling the gorgeous weather - we won't ask how you do it. Another painful goodbye.

Classic, Clean and Comfy

  • 5 of 5

Arrived to find a clean, well stocked cottage with all the cooking supplies we could possibly need. The views were wonderful and it took two minutes, tops, to walk to the beach. The owners are available to answer any questions, should you have one. We will be back.

Peaceful week

  • 5 of 5

Dear Gail and Brian,

We had such a wonderful week at your charming beach house! Upwind is such a great spot and location. The view was spectacular and we were so relaxed all week. Thank you for making us feel so welcome in your place. Everything we could possibly need or want was there! The boys loved everything too. Hoping to make it back for another week in the near future! Loved our welcome basket too.

First Timers To The Cape

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I are very old and most of our travel is using timeshares that we have owned for many years. We have not rented a place very often. We are from Seattle and we were meeting long time friends from New Hampshire. They have some health issues so we needed more than a timeshare. I did a lot of research beforehand but we got lucky. Brian and Gayle made our stay one of our best vacations ever. The home is right on the water with a nice beach and an inlet where there was private boating. I caught fish right in front. The home is luxurious and well maintained. It is fully equipped and very comfortable. Water and ferry views. Very quiet neighborhood. The owners live next door but they left on a vacation the day after we got there. They checked in with us several time to make sure we didn't have any problems and didn't need anything. Even though we spent more than we usually do it was well worth it. I would recommend ti to anyone. We had a great two weeks. The ferries to Nantuckett and Martha's Vineyard are very close to the home. We visited both. We don't eat out much but we went to Keltic Kitchen and Yarmouth House and they are exceptional restaurants and very close to the home. We also went to Dennisport and had dinner at the Ocean House. Outstanding! Brian and Gail are very nice people and they care about their guests.

Great Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you to Gail and Brian for making our girls birthday getaway such a memorable experience. The accommodations were what we had hoped for and so much more! We now all have such great memories of our 60th year.

You certainly thought of everything to make our stay so pleasant.

I have used VRBO several times in the past, and by far, this was the best!

Thanks also for helping us out with the car challenges..You guys were wonderful hosts!

The property is well located, clean and comfortable, steps from the beach. Great kitchen with everything you may need or want. Five adults and a child had ample space and privacy. All the makings for a pleasant and relaxing vacation.

What vacation memories are made of!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for making sure our vacation was so memorable! The house was everything you said it would be and more! The little treats you left for us was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. We filled our seashell jars to the top, and love the beautiful Christmas ornaments. This will be a vacation we will remember for a lifetime.

Gail and Brian couldn't of been nicer, they truly do provide everything you need! All you need to do is pack your clothes and come to spend a wonderful week at the beach!
