We have had an amazing weekend full of giggles with friends.
It was perfect for us!!
Thank you! X
I stayed here for 2 nights for my hendo along with 15 friends/family. Beautiful house and location. Excellent facilities. Lovely staff. High quality decor. Amazing stay.!
We had an absolute blast at Fairfield House. From the outset everything was perfect. The house and gardens are beautiful. We loved every minute, as did our guests.
The bedrooms are lovely the beds are comfortable and huge (and the annex rooms WOW) the kitchen is well stocked they have thought of everything. We managed to cook for 19 with no problems.
All the bathrooms were spotless as was the whole house.
Hot tub was well used, we had great weather so were able to make full use of the gardens, but it wouldn't have mattered as the house is huge, with lots of space for everyone to relax, dance, enjoy.
The village is great with lots of places to eat, drink and shop.
Cycling and walking is also on the doorstep so perfect for anyone wanting to get out and about.
Thank you all for making my Birthday weekend so special
Can't wait to return.
I stayed here with 13 ladies for my 30th birthday and it was amazing.
We were met by Tracey who showed us around the house and gave us info on working the hot tub etc and then left us to it. The house has absolutely everything you could possibly need and more. We didn't use the games room but it would be fab for a group with kids. It's got a pub near by and walks around the area. Totally recommend for a weekend away!!
I booked this house for a group of 12 girls/ladies (aged between 21-50). Everyone was absolutely blown away! It was just stunning. The owners had clearly spent a lot of money renovating the house and the decor was unbelievable. Every room was breath taking! Absolute bonus having an outdoor hot tub which we took advantage of on the Friday night. The house has clearly been well designed for large groups and we made the most of the huge dining table both on the Friday night and Saturday (we made afternoon tea!). We headed into Durham on the Saturday evening (about 40 minutes away) pre-booked taxis with no issue. I would most definitely go back and would make the most of the area by going for some nice walks (our weekend was a little more lively). Anyone looking for a bit of luxury away from the hustle and bustle this is the house for you. I'd also like to thank the company House Parties for being so helpful, great communication and as the designated organiser you made things much easier for me! Thank you x
We booked Fairfield house to celebrate my 40th birthday. We were an all female group and all but one room was made into twins thanks to the house keeper who contacted me to arrange in advance. On arrival we were shown around and informed how everything works which was extremely helpful. The house is clean and has very comfortable bedrooms, a huge lounge/kitchen and plenty of room if you want some quiet time. The hot tub was amazing and the games room was an added bonus. The photos online don't do this house justice, it was simply fantastic! The celebratory bottle of fizz was very much appreciated too. The house has everything you need (except for a pizza cutter) for a great weekend away. The village has some lovely little shops and a couple of pubs too.
The only improvement that could be made to the property is to put some outdoor heaters near the hot tub.
Thanks for an amazing weekend which cost less than a nice hotel!!
