About Todd & Diane Parker
In 2014, we were Southern Californians looking for a quiet place that we could retire to in 5-7 years. We explored much of Tennessee but once we got to Old Hickory lake, we fell in love with this area, our neighbors and their warm southern hospitality. We were thrilled to purchase this home yet unsure of whether to have a long term tenant or share it as a vacation rental. We ultimately decided on a vacation rental because we also wanted to be able to enjoy the home, the wildlife (we’ve had deer and turkey in the yard), the gorgeous views and the beautiful sunsets that you will soon enjoy. We love that we can spend the day on the lake, fish off the dock, take a nap in the hammock yet be in the city of Nashville in less than 30 minutes. We love the area so much that we decided to move to the area sooner than planned and keep this home as a vacation rental. We purchased another home on the lake just 4 miles from this one so we can be local to assist with anything our guests may need. We hope you love your stay in the Nashville/Hendersonville area as much as we love living here.

Why Todd & Diane Parker chose Hendersonville
The Parker Lakehouse is in a peaceful, safe and friendly neighborhood right on the lake. The house has the last dock in our quiet cove. No big noisy boats going past to disrupt your relaxation.
What makes this House unique
Enjoy a BBQ and bonfire in a very large yard right on the lake! Sip coffee on a crisp spring morning from the gazebo while watching a Blue Heron fish off our dock or have fun with family and friends in a peddle boat or playing a game of Cornhole in the yard.
100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date. 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.

A Great Place to Stay!
Todd & Diane were fantastic hosts and accommodated all our needs! They go out of their way to make your stay a great one. The house had about everything you would need and was very clean and comfortable. One of the things we loved about this rental is that the bedrooms had dressers with plenty of space to unpack your suitcase and put your clothes. We have been in many rentals where this wasn't the case and you were partially living out of your suit case for the week. Although we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy it on this trip, the outside had a beautiful patio area with a hot tub and a really cool and relaxing area that had a gentle slope down to the lake. We saw deer in the backyard several times! If you are bringing a boat, the driveway is plenty big for it and there is a nice boat launch area less than 5 minutes away. It took us about 25 to 30 minutes to get to downtown Nashville depending on the traffic and it is not bad drive at all. This is our first time staying in Hendersonville and we really love this area! There are a lot of great restaurants to eat at and many things to do. We would definitely stay at Todd & Diane's house again and highly recommend it! Thanks again Todd & Diane for a great stay and such a quick refund on our security deposit!!!
Hendersonville and Gallatin are loaded with great restaurants, shopping and everything else you’d need. Of course, Nashville is only a short 25 minute drive too!
