Guestbook comments from the owner

To whom it may concern:

My name is Wayne Pride, I am from Australia, and had the pleasure of staying at "Another World" a cabin in Pigeon Forge East Tennessee.

The cabin was recommended by my friends Wanda Galli and Doc Peters, what an experience I had, my time spent there was wonderful. The cabin is in a perfect setting and is also in walking distance to Main Street. The surroundings are magnificent and the facilities are everything and more than I wished for.

I was fortunate to have a light snowfall, the weather was cold, and I loved it. I had a hot tub while the snow fell and watched the Squirrels running around. The kitchen has everything you need, the laundry facilities, where do I stop.

The cabin is comfort plus, in the bedroom there is a T.V. with cable, a game player, a Jacuzzi, and a very comfortable bed, the living room is something else, T.V. Games, DVDs to watch and a pool table to play 8 ball or what ever you choose.

I can't recommend Another World enough, it is fantastic, and if I am fortunate to visit again I hope the Cabin is available to me, I love it....

Clean and Cozy

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed in Another World on our latest stay in Pigeon Forge. We make this trip twice a year to visit our much loved Smoky Mountains. We loved this cabin! It was very clean and a cozy for two people and close to our favorite restaurants and shops in Pigeon Forge. It was also easy to get to and no steep, winding roads. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice place to relax

  • 5 of 5

Very nice and quiet. It was only 5 minutes away from the main strip, but it was away from the road, like it's name I felt like I was in another world. The hot tub was very nice, even though it was hot outside we still got in. The inside of the cabin is one level. Which worked well for us since my husband can't go up and down a lot of steps. There is a pool table and a flat screen tv. The kitchen was just the right size and had a dishwasher, although my husband just washed the dishes by hand. The bedroom was large with a king sized bed and their was enough room for an air mattress, also a pull out bed in the couch, in the living room. The cabin was really clean besides a couple of moths in the light fixtures above the dining room table. The Island is a 15 minute walk in the day time (I wouldn't walk at night) from the cabin or a five minute drive. You can go their to shop and at night watch the lights and water dance to the music, it all is beautiful. I would love to go back next year.

"Another World" is pretty close to being a perfect name for this cabin. You are within minutes of everthing described in the property description, yet you can not tell there is any civilization nearby. During our 5 night stay we were more than comfortable with the accomodations. With this property there are no views, which is okay I guess, but I like looking at the mountains. The end of the drive was perfect for watching the July 4th Pigeon Forge fireworks display. It is so convenient to get to The Island and other locations using Teaster Lane that one can forget about the Parkway congestion. It is also easy to get to Gatlinburg because ,again, you can use Teaster Lane and Veteran's Boulevard to avoid traffic. During our stay the only negatives we experienced were AC seemed to run quite frequently(and very loud) I don't think it is performing correctly because when it was set on <72F it never seemed as cold as my house at <72F. It was still more than comfortable, but just never felt as cold as I thought it should. The only other concern (not really a big deal) was the cabin was always dark because it is tucked away in a draw. You never really got any sunlight to let in the cabin. Would I go back- no- NOT because of any of the aforementioned things, but because I LIKE TO KEEP TRYING NEW PLACES. Oh yeah- the owner (Carol) went above and beyond in helping us whenever we emailed or called. I would recommend this cabin to anyone that wants to be in the heart of Pigeon Forge!!!

Beautiful, Relaxing, Amazing Family Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was beautiful and immaculate! So relaxing and the perfect size for myself, husband, and 2 young boys. It is located in the perfect location-in the center of town, but in the woods, so very private and secluded. I cannot say enough positive things about the cabin. I had expected more of a camp with a little grime and some bugs, but the cabin was spotless. Bed was super comfy, too. You can tell that the owner takes great care of the house and does their best to make your stay wonderful. Thank you so much!
