Very nice

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay. Emanuel is very easy to work with and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The ONLY downside is the stairs, but you should already know that. I would occasionally want to go out, but decided not to because I just didn't want to deal with the climb. Terrace is very nice touch. Location is perfect.

A little tired appartement in great location.

  • 3 of 5

The appartement was clean and had what you needed, but not a bit more. On the pictures you can not see, that it needed painting all over the place.

The terrace could be so fine with some decent and comfortable furniture. And if it is not possibly to grow plants there, then remove the pots. And when you are ad it, the old broken chairs and other items.

But the terrace is spacey with a fine view.

Location perfect with St Peters dome in view from the terrace

  • 5 of 5

Compact yet complete. Good quiet space with a functional kitchen and a spacious terrace, high over Colinari. A busy narrow pedestrian street connecting the Vatican area with the heart of Rome piazzas and historic sites. For a walker it couldn't be better. Yes it is a climb to get the benefit of the rooftop, but perfect to share a glass of wine and view the magic of busy Rome. We will be back. Raffaele so helpful and prompt with addressing any issues, leaving us to enjoy our time in Rome.

one large issue

  • 3 of 5

The facilities were as described and the personnel ( Rafaele and Lucrezia) were helpful. The location was very central. I didn't expect or like the 4 flights of stairs - especially the first flight with some not evenly sized.

The pictured balcony didn't have any plantings

Nice location (walking distance to everything) & nice hosts; apartment was so-so

  • 3 of 5

Pros: apartment was in a beautiful location, and within walking distance to all major sites. Very close to the Vatican City! Hosts were very pleasant to work with (Emanuele). The idea of a personal terrace was exciting.

Cons: The interior was "so-so". I'm truly not that particular but it just felt run down, more than other Italian rentals I've stayed in. Bathroom was dark and outdated, lights didn't work throughout the apartment, no garbage can on entire main floor, no ironing board (but had an iron), and the A/C worked 1 of our 3 nights which made sleeping difficult. It was 28 C (82 F) at night which was very warm for us. Lastly, the terrace was the selling feature when I booked this apartment but all of the plastic chairs were broken, and the remaining chairs and tables had bird poop all over them. I cleaned them myself. No plants/greenery on the terrace either which was a bummer.

Overall I gave it a 3/5 stars because it was a great price and great location, which are the ideal components for a vacation rental. Just think it could use a little updating and fixing up (photos online were a tad misleading)

Excellent Location. Needs Some Work.

  • 3 of 5

Spent four nights here in Late May. The best thing about this property is the location. Very close to St. Peter's, Trevi Fountain, and only 15-20 minutes walk to most anything you want to see. The place needs repair though. The upstairs terrace is nice for an afternoon drink or breakfast, but the tables and chairs need to be replaced. Only three chairs were functional. The room itself is fine, though the AC struggles to keep the place cool. A little TLC from the owners would make this place a fine place to stay. And be prepared for stairs!

Car: not necessary

You are in the heart of ancient Rome, a few minutes from the most important monuments of the eternal city. The apartment is located in District VI 'Parione', a few meters from Piazza Navona and the Cloister of Bramante (1504).

This is the most impressive area of ??the historic center of Renaissance connotation although at every street corner you can see many traces of ancient Rome.

The Street is a famous street of Rome. There are many stores that sell mostly pieces of art and antiques, but you will also find bizarre clothing stores, interiors, jewelry or books.

From this enchanted place you can reach on foot the splendid Piazza Farnese and the famous Campo de Fiori, where since 1869 is held every morning a characteristic market of fruits and flowers. In a few minutes, walking through streets steeped in history, we arrive at the Pantheon, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.

The area is full of bars, markets, restaurants, shops, wine bars and trattorias.
