Holland Park Mews W11.
A charming two-storey mews house with country-house decor in one of London's most sort-after residential areas close to Holland Park and Notting Hill.
A pretty mews house in a quiet cobbled street with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a small balcony. Not suitable for young children. Parking (small car) is possible on a request basis (fees).
Traditional English country-house decor with antique furniture and lots of colour.
A mews house is a unique feature of the historic residential areas of London. Originally designed to house coaches and horses and those who looked after them. Many mews houses have been converted into delightful homes that benefit from being off the main streets but still in the heart of an exclusive neighbourhood. In this one the ground floor has become a haven of comfort and colour, with an inviting sitting area near the front window around the ornamental marble fireplace, and an elegantly arranged dining area by the kitchen. Flowers take pride of place in the richly-toned colour scheme and several choice antique pieces showcase interesting objets d’art and family treasures. The country-house look is completed by a varied collection of paintings and portrait miniatures. TV and VCR provided.
Adjacent to the dining area is a fully fitted kitchen fitted with all the usual appliances including a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The bedrooms are on the first floor. The master bedroom has a king size antique bed plus a dressing area with substantial wardrobe space and a large en-suite bathroom. It also has access to a balcony with table and chairs.
The second bedroom has twin beds and some charming Victorian furniture as well as excellent cupboard space.
The generously sized en-suite master bathroom has cream paintwork, marble surfaces and more antique treasures set against vivid cherry pink walls. It has double wash basins, a tub with hand held shower and a loo. The second bathroom has a wash basin, a shower cubicle with a power shower and a loo.

Home From Home Management Ltd purchased this house in 1998
Loved this property, it really has a welcoming atmosphere. Hope to book again when we return to London.
We will definitely be using Home from home's brilliant services again. This was a lovely apartment and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Hone from Home from Home was fabulous to work with -- they helped us find a flat at the last minute during a busy time.
I have already recommended Home from Home to my friends - we are expats living in Moscow with many many of us travelling back to the UK at every chance we get!!
We loved the flat and the area it was in. It was just right for the four of us. I would recommend HFH to others!
We absolutely LOVED our stay at this house! It's a bit of a leap of faith booking the flat from overseas, as you don't really know if the company is legitimate or not, but we couldn't have been more pleased with it. My friend and I had a wonderful time, in part due to getting to stay in such an awesome flat! If we go back we'll likely try to book the same place. Please pass along our gratitude to the owners.
