About Kristi Akana
We are Jimmy and Kristi Akana, the proud owners of Pacific Heights Lodging. Jimmy is a Fishing Charter Captain of a local operation here in Seward. Kristi is a former Elementary and Special Education Teacher that now devotes her time and energy ensuring all their guests have everything they need while enjoying their stay here in Seward. We finally accomplished our dream of being a Seward Host to family and both old and new friends from near and afar.

Our small Lodge differs from most typical Seward rentals as it is totally Brand New! We wanted our guests to enjoy Alaska's beauty while only being minutes from town hence why we chose this piece of land to build on. Our Lodge is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood yet only a few miles from the Seward Small Boat Harbor and Downtown. Construction of Pacific Heights Lodging was completed in June of 2017.
What makes this Lodge unique
When constructing our Lodge we made sure to include amenities that would make our guests comfortable and feel at home. We designed our Lodge with modern Suites that include contemporary furnishings, appliances, and fixtures. We also chose to splurge and include In-Floor Heating and a top of the line Heating and Circulation Ventilation System for the enjoyment of our guests.

Nice but probably not again !
This is a newly constructed townhome. Nice construction. Off the beaten path so not convenient to Seward. We had 6 guys and 1 bathroom. This was not convenient. Needs more bathrooms.
New, clean and well-appointed
I highly recommend this Seward property. We went for the Silver Salmon Derby and it was perfect. Short drive to town and out unit was very nice. We'll definitely be staying again.

Additional information about rental rates
1. Should the tenants violate any terms of this agreement, the rental period should be terminated immediately. 2. The tenants shall pay for any damages done to the premises over and above normal wear and tear. 3. No animals or pets of any kind will be brought into the premises. 4. There shall be NO smoking inside the premises. Smoking is allowed at least 20 feet from the lodging building. 5. The tenants shall have no more than six persons reside or sleep on the premises, unless the $15 fee per additional guest per night is paid. 6. Tenants shall abide by the ‘Quiet Hours’ between 10pm and 8am on a daily basis. This constitutes no loud noises, interaction, or engagement that may be disruptive to the neighboring units. 7. Tenants shall behave in a civilized manner and shall be good neighbors respecting the rights of the surrounding renters and property owners. 8. The tenants and tenants’ guests shall hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Landlord against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from use of the premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury, or loss. Tenants expressly recognize that any insurance for property damage or loss on the property in regards to the real and personal property of the Landlord does not cover the personal property of Tenants, and that Tenants should purchase their own insurance for Tenants and Guests, if such coverage is desired. 9. Deposit amount is fully refundable up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the rental period. Cancellation 14 days prior to the rental period half of the deposit will be refunded. After 14 days prior to the beginning of the rental period, the Landlord shall have the right to retain the initial deposit. 10. Tenants agree to pay all reasonable costs, attorney fees, and expenses that shall be made or incurred by the Landlord enforcing this agreement. 11.
