We've had a great stay here at Sunrise House. Margot just celebrated her 60th birthday, and invited the whole family to join her for a holiday in Greece. We've had plenty of time to relax at sunrise house with long evenings, wine and long good talks. But we have also been swimming and sunbathing a lot in the nice weather we've had all during our stay here. We also got to see the Skiathos island a very nice place with a lot of swedish tourists. With a rental car we drove over the mountain to Tsagarada village (Pelion) and saw the most enormous tree and the secret school inside the cave.
We have loved to stay here at Sunrise House with its great view, creative interior and nice garden. Tanks to Eve and Margot for the opportunity to see this place a have such a wonderful time.
I want to thank Peris, the owner,to make us know that such a wonderfull place can exist(the house and the region). We would like to come again, but, sorry Peris,we won't be your customers again,we are on the way to be your "neighbour": we are buying a little house by the sea in Kritharia and will spend our next vacation close to you.Maybe we can see us during our next hollydays, and if not, later when we'll move house to Greece in a few years... thank you again.M&Mme Meyer Claude.
This was a very enjoyable stay in an extremely nice place. We hadn't been to the area before but we all talked about coming back.
The accommodation was clean and tidy, very well designed and artistic. It had good access to the motorway for longer trips but the local area was well worth spending time in, with many ancient remains. Volos itself is a short cycle ride away, which we found very pleasant. There is a 500m strip of harbour side lined with cafés and restaurants, which is just the place to relax. It's not at all touristy, most of the people around were Greeks, very agreeable.
The highlight of our stay was the Pelion peninsula which is just on the other side of the bay. And perhaps the friendliness and hospitability of the people....
We stayed in the house for a month in wintertime. When we arrived, Peris expected us already and explained us very carefully the house and the handling of the house. He was really friendly and helpful with informations about the house but also about the region. He could give us many tips where to go. You can find a lot of flyers for outings in the house too. Also during our stay we could write e-mails and Peris could fix the problems.
The house was very clean and smart.
We were the first guests in wintertime. Although the weather was sometimes cold and rainy, we had a great time in the house. It is big and warm enough to feel comfortable. The rooms are individually and beautiful designed in a very creative way. To use the sauna during the cold days was quite luxury. Also the garden is big enough for the children to play and the terrace was nice to enjoy the sun.
The Mount Pilion is just a nice region to discover.
We can highly recommend this house in every season.
We - 4 adults und 2 children - were happy to choose this house for our summer holidays 2014 for 3 weeks.
It was wonderful, we had a great time. The house was big enough for all our necessities. It was quiet and relaxing.
We loved the terrasse, the sea in front of the house, the bathrooms, the garden, the short distance to the little village, the possibility of barbecue and the quiet surrounding.
The house is a good choice for those who need calm and relaxing holidays and like Greece whitout a lot of tourists.
