Located 18 miles north of Leavenworth's Bavarian-inspired downtown village, this home's location offers quick access to tons of outdoor sports and sightseeing in town. You can pick up groceries, grab coffee and sandwiches at the hardware store, and attend church services and seasonal events in Plain, the nearest town, which lies just three-and-a-half miles south. Throughout the year, you'll even find special events in Leavenworth, including the famous Christmas Lighting Festival in December, so make sure to check the area's seasonal schedule.
The outdoor options here are as vast as the surrounding wilderness. You'll find an endless amount of hikes just beyond doors, with established horse riding trails and hiking trails for all abilities beginning only a few miles down the road. Mountain biking enthusiasts will also love the options on local forest service roads, established trails, and even downhill courses at Stevens Pass 30 miles west. You could also go fishing and boating six-and-a-half miles west on Lake Wenatchee, or plan a rafting trip down the Chiwawa River (thanks to the home's great location near put-in areas, float trips are easy to coordinate).

Instead, you may park in the other driveway near the garage. The owner's vehicle may be parked in this driveway or inside this garage, so please do not block access in and out of the garage door.
