Cozy very comfortable

  • 5 of 5

Love the place, quiet, clean and what I was really looking for in a very charming Maine cottage. Mrs. Watts informed everything about the cottage. The only problem was figuring out the oven, I got it to work but still not sure what I did after pushing buttons several times. She had booklets on everything except oven and a binder with maps, restaurants which helped a lot. It has plenty of space for 2 to 4 people. I am a neat freak but everything was very nice and tidy.

Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Watts for a very nice vacation. sent pictures to friends and they all thought the place was very nice.

Great time in Mount Desert Island

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time in MDI. The cottage was very cosy (especially after the hot water and shower issues were quickly fixed by Eleanor and Sandy) and it was a pleasure to go back to it every night after spending time exploring the island.

Very pretty property :)

  • 4 of 5

It was a nice place! We had everything we needed! Our only complaint was that no water came out of the shower head, so we were limited to bathing every night. My husband is 6'5, so it was a bit difficult for him. But Overall great place to stay :) so cool and quiet!

Perfect retreat

  • 4 of 5

We loved our stay at the cottage as we explored Acadia National Park this month. It had everything we needed - including a fireplace for an unexpected chilly day in mid-June. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

good location. quiet. cute. did the job!

  • 4 of 5

we did not spend too much time actually in the cottage. we were out exploring most of the time. it was a good spot for my husband and 2 dogs. good amount of room, good location for morning and evening dog walks. things to note - shower pressure and shower head leave a bit to be desired, and we opened the windows upon arrival to "air it out" :) eleanor was great to communicate with! its located on the quiet side of the island. 30 min to bar harbor -easy drive and just a quick drive into Southwest Harbor.

Owner's Response: Thanks, Caroline, for your helpful comments. We are glad you enjoyed your time at the Cottage and we will see about the shower head; I don't think there's much we can do about the water pressure, I think that "goes with the territory!"
