Fantastic location! Beautiful and convenient!

  • 4 of 5

The location is wonderful. Short walk to Tower Hill tube station, as well as the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, and the Thames boats. The docks are quiet and really lovely. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes within a few minutes walk, and a grocery store just across the street, which was fantastic. The flat is small but has everything you need, including a well equipped kitchen. The view of Tower Bridge and the Shard (especially at night!) is beautiful.

The property manager, Mike, was great to work with from beginning to end. The entire process was easy and comfortable, all of my questions were answered quickly. Mike set up our car service to and from Heathrow as well, and our driver was fantastic. Great customer service all the way.

Cote and Strada are two restaurants located at the docks that were fantastic, we went several times for the convenience and great food. I also highly recommend taking a boat down the Thames from St Katharine's Pier (just near Tower Bridge) down to Greenwich, it's a great ride and Greenwich is beautiful.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks in London and were very happy with everything.

Michael and Anna are both a pleasure to work with and always availiable to help with any questions you may have. The view from the balcony is amazing and the apartment is very quiet and private. Well equipped apartment in a beautiful location with lovely balcony views.

As we were unfamiliar with London, we were a little apprehensive about the location of the apartment as we hadn't heard of St Katharine Docks. However we needn't have worried as the location is stunning. The Docks are only about a 5 minute walk from Tower Hill underground station so are well served by transport links. Tower Bridge / the Tower of London are also within walking distance. There are numerous bars and restaurants within the Docks, so there is no need to travel far for amenities if you fancy a lazy day! There is also a Waitrose just across the road which came in very handy!

The apartment itself was bright, modern, clean and well equipped. The sleeping arrangements were ideal for ourselves and our two young children as they were able to have their own space by way of the second bedroom.

We received excellent customer service and any questions we had prior to our arrival were answered promptly and in a very helpful manner.

Overall, we had a wonderful break in London and wouldn't hesitate in recommending this property/location to friends and family.

The pictures were accurate - the view was perfect.

This apartment is in an upscale, historical area of London (St. Katherine's Dock). Pretty quiet (except one Saturday night where the revelry under our window went on until around 2am). The upside was it was very clean, well-maintained. The view from the balcony overlooked a the dock area just like in the picture and at night was awesome. In the background was the Tower Bridge. 10 min walk to the Tower and the same for the underground. 75 yards behind the apartment there is an upscale grocery store . There is a washing machine which came in handy. No dryer, but there is a "hot room" with racks and this dried everything within a day. All the kitchen needs are there - there is a large refrigerator so you can stock up if you're not eating out. After a full day of sightseeing it was nice to have cable to just kick back and zone out. The hosts were very friendly - provided a nice can of real coffee and biscuits (cookies). The only negative really was the apartment could get very warm and suggested a fan which was enthusiastically agreed to by the host. Also I wouldn't suggest walking with your bags to the Tube station as it's a bit far for lugging luggage. All in all I think most people will really enjoy and appreciate this property.

  • 4 of 5

Clean, homely and well situated for local restaurants and bars. A bonus is the Waitrose supermarket across the road. Very well equipped including mobile phone, Wi-Fi and Oyster cards for travel on the underground and buses.

Mike was very accommodating and most helpful.

Would recommend it to a friend
