My family had a wonderful time vacationing at this condo in September. The residence was extremely clean and the accommodations comfortable. It had a great relaxing, beachy feel to the interior, decorated really well. There is a lovely outdoor private dining area at the back of the property as well as a sunny patio out front that was great for relaxing and reading. The kitchen is well equipped for everything a family needs to prepare all their meals. The owners were very well organized in the specifics of the rental agreement, easily accessible, accommodating, and quick to respond with questions. Maushop Village itself was also lovely with well kept landscaping and a beautiful private beach that was less than a 2 minute walk. The beach is large and sandy with plenty of interesting objects for young children to enjoy. The area is quiet but accessible to a nearby grocery and shops. We for sure recommend this rental with no hesitation to anyone vacationing in the area.
Maushop Village is a nice quiet place. It is ideal for family with young kids. The beach is private and walking distance. It’s nice to come back for lunch to the cottage. The village is very secure and the kids can play around the premise. The beach is small but with young kids it’s perfect. There was a lot of seaweed at the time we went, I don’t know if it’s because of the weather or if it usual but we got used to it. The water tempeture was perfect.
There is a small market place where you can find the essential- 8 minutes walking distance. It’s fun to go eat an ice cream, eat a pizza, play mini golf or have a lobster roll. The small grocery is very expensive; I do recommend going to the Roche Grocery at 10 minutes by car from the village. You will find everything you need. You have very quality items. You can also shop at Mashpee Communes at 12 minutes by car; you have a couple of restaurants. The Blue restaurant was very nice.
The cottage is perfect for a family of 4. It is nicely decorated. There is no AC but they have fans and a nice the breeze from the sea. Gary, the owner, was very nice and answered all my questions very rapidly. The cottage was clean but I think that is the only point I would suggest to improve. A more depth cleaning would be nice.
Lovely property, only a two minute walk to the beach, ten minutes to Maspee Commons shopping center by car. The grounds are well maintained. September is a great month to be on the Cape , especially after the crowds have gone. We would definitately stay at Maushop village for our next trip to Cape Cod.
The resort has numerous bike paths and jogging trails. Easy access to day trips to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Three miles from Mashpee Commons with fashionable shops, movie theatre, supermarkets, etc. A short walk to Popponessett Marketplace with numerous small boutique style shops, restaurants, general store and small concert stage with musical entertainment. Bask in sun on private Maushop Beach or visit the Mashpee Town Beach or State Beach nearby.
