About Glenn & Svitlana
We are family of three permanently living at our property in France since 2011 - the year we completed our house . We love the open countryside, gardening, fishing, swimming and watching and listening to the wild life. This is a very safe and friendly environment for bringing up our son. We also have a dog called Lily.
Glenn & Svitlana purchased this Apartment in 2008
Why Glenn & Svitlana chose Mouilleron-Saint-Germain
These beautiful Lake Noble provides the perfect setting for a holiday with the lake facing gardens and overlooking the stunning Vendéen countryside. There is a large heated pool and a privately owned fishing lake for leisure fishing.
What makes this Apartment unique
Lake Noble set on the outskirts of the two villages Cheffois and Mouilleron-en-Pareds with its bakeries, Bar/Tabacs and restaurants. Just over an hour to the Atlantic coast and the cosmopolitan town of La Rochelle and just 30 minutes to the Grand Parc *Puy du Fou*, a fantastic re-enactment of Vendeen life through the ages. For whatever the reason you are visiting the Vendée - just for a great holiday, searching for a second home or for any other special interest – we are always happy to share our knowledge of the region, places of interest, good restaurants etc as well as assist with the French language. We live in the premises, so take personal care of the property.

The Puy du Fou - historic theme park. The sets and the shows are evocations of the world as it really was... with a few special effects added in. A Roman arena, where gladiators fight it out and charioteers race; a mediaeval village attacked by a Viking longship, an 18th century village, or on a rather more fanciful note, the large indoor stage presenting the swashbuckling show called 'Richelieu's Musketeers'. There is also a unique falconry display called the Dance of the Phantom Birds, with over 100 trained birds of prey swooping down out of the sky. And lots more.... in all fourteen shows and four historic villages, an evening display of dance, light, water and music, plus other attractions as well.
In the summer holiday period (June to mid September), climax of the day is the famous 'Cinéscénie', the original event around which the Puy du Fou theme park has subsequently developed and expanded. This magnificent after-dark spectacular of light, fireworks, sound and action, set against the backdrop of the old Château du Puy du Fou, has been seen over the years by over 10 million spectators, and is the world's biggest night-time show, lasting 1 hour and 40 minutes, involving 1200 actors and extras, and performed over a 50 acre stage.
Vendée is a hugely popular holiday destination for both French and foreign tourists and, as you would expect, there are an endless amount of attractions on offer. The park at Futuroscope in Poitiers is amazing. The forest of adventures Mervent brings tree climbing and zip wires to a new level and the park at Pierre Brun is a delightful 'French' experience for all the family. There is go-karting, kayaking, horse riding, biking, hiking and even micro light flying and bungee jumping all readily available within a short distance.
There is plenty to do for people of all ages and preferences. More information with contact details are available on your arrival.
