Overview

About the property

Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)

This luxurious stone and log cabin is located in the exclusive Granite Ridge Development - long considered the premier slope side accommodation for Jackson Hole. The Granite Ridge Surface Lift is just outside our back yard which makes us the closest Cabin to the Lift.

Spend your time skiing and not walking to the Lift.

Our house is a three bedroom, two and a half bath, Granite Ridge Cabin. There are ONLY two, three-bedroom cabins in all of Granite Ridge and this is the ONLY one that is listed on vrbo - so you will SAVE MONEY . The Granite Ridge cabins are the ONLY free standing, luxurious accomodations that offer you a real feel of the Old West.

Our furnishings are in a Western motif with Pendleton wool sofas and custom handmade aspen furniture throughout. Walk in and you do feel like you are back in the 'Old West.' There is no other comparable housing in Teton Village to the Cabins.

After a long day on the slopes, unwind in the large private outdoor hot tub (with a waterfall, light show and speakers) and watch the last skiers walking by wishing they were home. You know the billboard, 'If You (Stayed) Here, You Would Be Home'. Or, fire up the grill and dine on the deck. Or, simply sit on the deck and watch the sun set. Look out our large picture window and see the shimmering snow flakes on the mountain or, maybe a Moose or passing fox. (No guarantees, but it happens-regularly-even in the winter)

After grilling dinner, spend the evening curled up in front of a roaring wood fire. While our house is only a stone's throw from the action in Teton Village, it is out of sight of the Village hotels, their bright lights and all the big parking lots, allowing you to enjoy solitude and privacy.

The Master Bedroom has a king aspen wood canopy bed, with matching dresser, armoire, and a comfortable chair for relaxing.

The Second Bedroom has a four-poster aspen queen bed, artwork by local artists and the

Third Bedroom is furnished with twin aspen wood beds.

All bedrooms have flat screen televisions. Wi-Fi is provided at no additional charge.

The master bath contains a large soaking tub, dual vanities, and walk-in shower. The second bath has a dual vanities, and tub/shower. There is a full capacity washer and dryer as well as plenty of closet space.

The upstairs living room is furnished with Western-style furniture along with two overstuffed sofas and includes a woodburning, stone-faced fireplace. Of course, the living room has a big, new super thin Samsung television, VCR/DVD, CD player, and lots of movies and board games.

An aspen wood dining set with chairs for six sits next to the bar separating the kitchen from the living area. The kitchen has granite countertops, bar stools, a full set of amenities and excellent appliances. And remember, that hot tub sitting right out there on the deck.

There is a half bath plus an entry way where you can take off those ski boots. There is a garage and room for parking out front.

This Cabin is wonderfully located and is also terrific for just sitting and breathing in a little Western solitude while looking up at the mountain.

Happy to talk if you want more details about the Cabin or, if you are new to Teton Village, and just want to talk about the community in general.

Amazing cabin in perfect location!!

  • 5 of 5

We can't speak highly enough of our stay at this amazing cabin!!! We still talk about it and hope to get back again for some skiing next time! We chose this for its location to the Tetons and we were not disappointed. Only a few miles to the entrance! In fact- we loved it so much we chose to eat in every night (I don't cook but the grill on the deck was perfect!! This also speaks volumes of our time here- we didn't want to leave to head to a restaurant!!) We took the free ski lift at Rendevous Mtn up in the evening for drinks and appetizers and enjoyed early morning workouts while watching the hot air balloons take flight. The communication with the owner was great and he was most helpful in suggesting some restaurants and activities during our stay. The furnishings were top notch and rustic and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed! The hot tub on the deck was a great way to end our days. Highly, highly recommend this cabin!

Magical experience

  • 5 of 5

We just spent a week in this amazing cabin - if you can call it that!!! It's more like a luxurious house. It is so much more than the pictures convey!!! My husband and I took our 4 girls here for our summer vacation. We have been to Jackson Hole before but staying in Teton village just made our experience even more spectacular. So much to do and so much to explore. It was so magical coming home at night to a quaintly lit street with twinkly lights in the trees. The cabin was remarkably decorated and had every possible amenity you could ever imagine. The cabin and its surroundings are truly what made our dream vacation so dreamy!!!!! Can NOT wait to come back next year!!!!!!

Wonderful "cabin"

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful property. From the plethora of wild flowers surrounding the cabin, to the sound of the Aspen and squirrels from the second-floor outdoor hot tub, it was perfect. This was my family's second trip to Jackson and I have to say that the Granite Ridge location is the best place to be if you plan to enjoy the town of Jackson, the Jackson Hole ski resort and the GT National Park. It's located just the right distance from all. Horseback riding is in walking distance. We went white water rafting from a place in Jackson. Climb the mountain at Jenny Lake. Rent a boat at Jackson Lake. Rent a canoe at Leigh Lake. Go to the rodeo. The burgers at The Bird are fabulous, and Mile High Pizza Pie in Jackson is great. Hike out to Cody Bowl after taking the lift up to Rendevous Mountain. Don't miss the shoot out on the town square! The house itself is lovely. The decorations are perfect. My family with three children had plenty of room. The ammenities are actually nicer than appear in the photos. I will recommed this to others so long as it's available when we want to return!

Beautiful Cabin, Best Location

  • 5 of 5

Can't say enough about this cabin. It is beautifully furnished, just the right luxurious touches. Walk out the back door, and you are at the lift. All these other places that say that they are ski-in and out don't really mean it. This one does. Kitchen is well appointed for cooking and the hot tub was fabulous for relaxing. The house was immaculate and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. Had many suggestions for activities and food--highly recommend the buffet breakfast at the Snake River Lodge and sushi at the Inn at Jackson Hole.
