Renovated apartment in July 2015. This beautiful studio is located next to the Metro station Mabillon, in the Saint Germain des Pres, 6th district. Located near the famous Place Saint Germain des Prés and its lively, it is located on the 5th floor of a building dating from 1930 with 2 lifts. The master bedroom has a bed, sofa, dining table. The kitchen is in a small separate and fully equipped room. It is perfect for 2 people in a prime location.

This apartment 34 square meters opens to a hallway that leads to the left, the living room / bedroom, which is very quiet side of the court. It has a king size bed, a sofa, a small table, 2 chairs and a TV. There are wooden floors and carpets. On the right of the hallway you will find the kitchen, equipped with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, stove, washing machine and dishwasher. There is a small desk and a bench where you can enjoy lunch and dinner. The bathroom is in front of the door and has a sink, bathtub (shower hose and shower), bidet and toilet.

The apartment is located in a beautiful building 'Art Deco' from 1930. First it was a hotel with a grand staircase, 2 lifts from the 1930s with its folding doors iron. Mabillon is the ideal location to visit Paris

Next to the apartment you can find the smallest bakery in Paris with amazing cupcakes. Guests can enjoy a cup of coffee at the famous Café des 2 Magots and Café de Flore, and enjoy the view of the church of Saint Germain des Prés. Rue du Four is famous for its fine shopping store. Rue de Buci is 5 minutes away with restaurants, cafes, and raw materials. This district is also famous for its art galleries and a great atmosphere.

The sixth district includes the historic center of Saint-Germain -Disable Prés and the Luxembourg surround the palace and its gardens. It has many art galleries and is one of the trendiest places in Paris.

Amazing Apartnment in a Fabulous Location!

Pictures accurately describe the property. All appliances are in good working order. Apartment is clean, organized and well laid out. It is located in a great location close to numerous restaurants, two metro stops, ATM across the street and Monoprix a few blocks away. The lock is tricky, but I got the hang of it on the first day. I would rent the apartment again! Highly recommend.

Comfortable home in an ideal location

The apartment worked beautifully for two people. The bathroom is good-sized with a large sink and shower in bathtub, with modern fixtures and plenty of storage. The kitchen, too, is beautifully updated and very workable, with any dishes, utensils and pots and pans that you may need. It has a four burner stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine as well as a large refrigerator. It was easy to cook dinner there and eat in the main room. There is a closet in the hallway as well as ample shelves for unpacking. The main room is larger than the photos seem to suggest, very comfortable with a small table for eating and a good couch. It is very quiet, being in the back of the building, though it sits just off the Blvd. St. Germain. The building is very secure and two small lifts make getting to the 5th floor apartment very easy. Finally, but certainly not least, is the location. You can't be in a better spot, especially if you like the left bank. It is right next to the Mabillon (line 10) metro stop (not so very useful), and a block and a half from St. Germain des Pres (line 4) metro stop, a very central line. It was so easy to get anywhere. It is across from the Rue de Buci, with restaurants and any kind of food/wine store you might like. Francoise and her nephew, Julien, were most accommodating.

Great home when we are away from home.

It 's our home when we are away from home. It could not be better located, right in the heart of Saint-Germain des Pres. The amenities are perfect. We will return to this great apartment every time we are in Paris!

Cozy, Clean, Great location, Lovely host!

5th floor quiet, secure apartment in a superb location, with two lifts, well-stocked kitchen, and a queen-size bed (important for my 6'7" husband)! Can walk everywhere from here. Terrific markets, bakeries and restaurants nearby. Only hiccup...the apt. door key can be a challenge...need to wiggle a bit to get it to work. Maybe need to change lock? Before you arrive, be sure to coordinate when, where, how to reach host when you are checking in. Thanks, Francoise. We'll be back!

Great location, lovely building, a bit of lack of attention to detail.

This could be a 5-star property with its great location, 2 elevator building and wonderful light. However, we had a few, mostly TLC oriented concerns:

- No contact number for emergencies

- No written info such as washing machine directions, local menus, TV instructions, etc

- Shower curtail moldy on bottom

- Shopping cart missing a wheel

- Sheets changed after 1 week but no pillow cases for two days after

- no small cooking pots

- ironing cord frayed

Owner's Response: Je trouve que vous êtes très injuste sur certains points Pour 10 jours il y avait 2 paires de draps. Pour les taies d'oreillers que vous n'aimez pas, mais se sont des taies d'oreillers en 100% coton Pour le caddie ou il manquait une roue, c'est vrai j'aurais du le remplacer. Pour le fer à repasser nous l'avons changé. je vous remercie, vous avez été des clients merveilleux Francoise
