Renovated apartment in July 2015. This beautiful studio is located next to the Metro station Mabillon, in the Saint Germain des Pres, 6th district. Located near the famous Place Saint Germain des Prés and its lively, it is located on the 5th floor of a building dating from 1930 with 2 lifts. The master bedroom has a bed, sofa, dining table. The kitchen is in a small separate and fully equipped room. It is perfect for 2 people in a prime location.

This apartment 34 square meters opens to a hallway that leads to the left, the living room / bedroom, which is very quiet side of the court. It has a king size bed, a sofa, a small table, 2 chairs and a TV. There are wooden floors and carpets. On the right of the hallway you will find the kitchen, equipped with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, stove, washing machine and dishwasher. There is a small desk and a bench where you can enjoy lunch and dinner. The bathroom is in front of the door and has a sink, bathtub (shower hose and shower), bidet and toilet.

The apartment is located in a beautiful building 'Art Deco' from 1930. First it was a hotel with a grand staircase, 2 lifts from the 1930s with its folding doors iron. Mabillon is the ideal location to visit Paris

Next to the apartment you can find the smallest bakery in Paris with amazing cupcakes. Guests can enjoy a cup of coffee at the famous Café des 2 Magots and Café de Flore, and enjoy the view of the church of Saint Germain des Prés. Rue du Four is famous for its fine shopping store. Rue de Buci is 5 minutes away with restaurants, cafes, and raw materials. This district is also famous for its art galleries and a great atmosphere.

The sixth district includes the historic center of Saint-Germain -Disable Prés and the Luxembourg surround the palace and its gardens. It has many art galleries and is one of the trendiest places in Paris.

Perfect home base for our Paris vacation

My wife and I stayed in the apartment for six nights, 9-5 through 9-10-2016. It could not have worked out better. The location is within walking distance of many major attractions with a metro station literally at the front door. Having elevators and air conditioning was a real bonus and the apartment had everything that we needed including excellent wifi service. For a studio we found it to be roomy and well laid out with a nice bathroom and very well equipped kitchen. I will be recommending this place to friends who may be planning on visiting Paris. Francoise's apartment is perfectly located, clean, quiet and comfortable. It is perfectly equipped.

Situated in the heart of St Germaine des Pres, this secure comfortable apartment is perfect for a couple. It is very self-contained, so cooking meals is easy. It has a lift so access is no problem. Clean, comfortable and very quiet, it is a great spot to stay. Francoise is a very welcoming host. Thank you Francoise.

Perfect location.

Well equipped.

Good value for money.


Extremely well equipped kitchen but you either have to eat in the bedroom or squeeze into the tiny kitchen, looking at the wall.

Although large in Square meters, the apartment does not feel spacious because of its layout.

Amazing Location

This Left Bank apartment is in an amazing location right off the St. Germain Des Pres Blvd, one block away from Le Deux Magots, one block away from Rue Du Buci market and the Cafe Du Marche. About 800 square feet in total with a clean modern kitchen, clean bath and shower and bedroom-living room. Francoise met us even though we did not arrive until 1015 PM. We were escorted through the apt by Francoise's nephew, Julien who speaks perfect English. Some tips on a smooth transition into the apartment: keep your travel arrival info simple. We took a cab at the last minute and Francoise was expecting us by the subway which caused a little confusion. We called her on the cellphone and met up so it might be wise to have cell service and her number. Hopefully, your French is better than ours. Once we got handed off to Julien, everything was great. By the way, the subway access was great for getting around and quick access to Gare du Nord and Gare St Lazaire. This is like a (small) 5th Avenue apartment at a very reasonable price. Rent it, you'll like it.

The apartment had all we needed and was perfectly situated not far from Saine and Notre Dame. It was also good that it was a short way from the Metro to the apartment.

But there is one thing that could be more clear. In advance we avsked for more information what would meet us when we arrived to the apartment. Would someone meet us personaly or would there be som kind of reception? We got no ansvar (by mail). Mybee this information was given by the "HomePage" but I missed it somehow. It was luck that I had written down the owners phonenumber so I could call her when we arrived (I have not sen any information that IT is à good point to have her nummer in case of "emergancy"). It is also very difficult to know exactly when we were suppose to arrive because we were not familiar with the Metro system.
