Wonderful stay!

  • 5 of 5

We recently visited Boston for the first time and stayed at this beautiful condo in Marblehead, MA. Phil, thank you for everything :) The condo had more than we expected from breakfast fixings to comfortable beds and soft towels. K-cups were even provided for us! Check-in and out was easy and convenient.

The view was amazing....so peaceful and beautiful. The location is in walking distance of restaurants (check out the Driftwood for breakfast to go) and a lovely grocery store called Crosby Market - I wish they had one in my neighborhood here at home!!

Salem was about 20 minutes away and we loved our visit there. We were not a fan of Boston itself (that traffic is crazy!!) but if we ever do decide to come back we all said we would stay at Phil's condo again.

Beautiful view, wonderful host

  • 5 of 5

The view is just as pictured, you are right on the town dock. The condo is perfectly located in Old Marblehead, walking distance (less than 5 minutes) from 2 coffee shops, grocery store; 10 minute walk to bookstore, movie theater, sushi restaurant and other coffee spots.

Leave your car parked and walk to the amazing harbor views of Ft. Sewell, Crocker Park, and Little Harbor, where you can also rent kayaks. Condo is spotless and well kept. We've rented here for many years and wouldn't miss a summer!

Wonderful month in Marblehead

  • 5 of 5

I had a lovely stay at this property for a month in April/May. The location couldn't be better ... great view of the harbor, two restaurants right across the street (Driftwood is perfect for breakfast, and The Landing has great lobster rolls), the market is a two minute walk, a rocky beach and two parks are just up or down the street, and it's an easy walk into the charming town of Marblehead. It also makes a great home base to explore the area. There is a beautiful long beach close by in Swampscott, Salem is very interesting, there are lots of great towns to visit up the coast, and it's an easy day trip into Boston.

The unit is very comfortable, bright, clean, and pleasant to be in, and the decor definitely made me feel like I was in New England. It had everything I needed for a longer stay ... clean white bathroom with enough hot water for a bath, soft towels and sheets, comfortable bed, pillow choices, good kitchen, cable TV, decent internet, and a washer and dryer. Although it was chilly at times, I still enjoyed going up to the roof deck to see the ever-changing panoramic view. The parking space was very convenient, and I didn't find noise to be a problem. Carrying my heavy bag up the narrow stairs was a bit of a challenge, but totally worth it to be on the top floor. Phil was easy to reach if I had questions, and very accommodating with any requests. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Delightful home away from home

  • 5 of 5

The three floor walk up is worth it for the fantastic view. The apartment is beautifully furnished including interesting tidbits-collectibles and plants adding to the ambiance. The bed is comfortable, the dining area comfy and the study quiet. When the weather is fine, the roof top deck is unbeatable. We highly recommend this apartment- except for times when we are there!

Love being surrounded by so much history and beauty

  • 5 of 5

Walking around the town and reading the historical markers on the historical homes and businesses is great. Excellent view of the water from both the bedroom and living room. I am certain most people visit Marblehead during the summer but being there in the winter was such a wonderful experience. It snowed one night during our stay which I found so enjoyable to just sit by the window and watching it come down. The condo was very comfortable and well stocked. Phil was so thoughtful and helpful. The locals where all very nice and friendly. We took a day trip over to Salem to visited the many attractions there. I recommend this for a vacation any time of the year.
