Oceanfront 1 BR sleeps 4 with a queen-size bed and queen-size hide-a-bed. Top floor of a 4-story resort providing for a spectacular unobstructed ocean view looking directly across the 10-mile Auau Channel to the island of Lanai. This very clean and well-prepared unit has a large private balcony facing SW with a chaise lounge, table and chairs. The unit has a shower-tub combo, dining room, full kitchen, a queen sofa bed in the living room, and access to a well-kept coin laundry one floor below. The sound of the ocean is continuous – even from the bedroom.

The resort has a huge deck right on the water for sunbathing and whale watching and one of the largest swimming pools in the area. Kaanapali center is 2 miles to the south and Lahaina, the famed whaling port and former capital of Hawaii is just 6 miles to the

south. We are owner-operated allowing us to offer you the lowest oceanfront rates in West Maui. This unit has high speed wireless internet and is a “no smoking” unit.

Great Condo

My wife and I got away for our 20th anniversary. This condo was perfect for the two of us. We had a great balcony/lanai with unobstructed ocean view and the sounds of the waves. It exceeded what we had hoped for with one of the lowest prices we could find. Walking distance to a farmers market three days a week and the ABC store. Sat on the lanai every night with munchies and drinks. It was just the quiet getaway we had hoped for. If you're a germaphobe, clean freak that needs maid service then I'd go to place that costs $500 a night and up. This isn't it. But it was clean, quiet, roomy, and checked all our boxes. Would definitely stay there again without hesitation. They would quite literally have to charge an extra $100/night before I'd shop around. Also, let me add that the owners let us stay there till 5:30pm on checkout day on very short notice. We paid $50 for the maid service that had to be canceled and rescheduled due to our very last minute request. I gave it 5 stars due to the quality of what we received versus the low amount of what we paid.

A Super and a Wonderful View

We had a wonderful time and the place was perfect for our needs. The view is great the place is comfortable. Ate on the lanai a couple of nights and could not have been more pleased. Wish we could live here. The grounds are great and the place is well located for West Maui with great beaches to the north and south. If you are looking for a great deal you can’t beat this place.

Great Value/Great View

Okay I was a little nervous about a couple of the reviews but decided to book it anyway. Great decision! We had a wonderful time. The place is a little dated but true to the pictures on VRBO and their website. We could not have been more pleased with the view. Drinks on the veranda every evening to watch the sun go down—what a fantastic view! Inside is great, loved the tile floor, comfortable furniture and bed, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Can’t say enough about the place. We will definitely go back. Oh I almost forgot to mention the great snorkeling and turtles swimming right out front.

Not recommended

WARNING…BEWARE This unit severely suffers from deferred maintenance and not up to VRBO standards. The kitchen is barely functional. Amenities are sparse. Too many other deficiencies to list here. The only positive is the view from the lanai. NOT RECOMMENDED

Owner's Response: I don’t even know what to say. Sure wish we knew what all the issues were so that we could address them in the response. (BTW in our instructions, that we provide every guest, we supply the number of our cleaning and maintenance guys and it says if there is any issue please contact Dave and he will take care of it immediately. Dave is very quick and responsive.) Here is what we do know. These guys blew up our microwave over the stove. Now I have never had a microwave blow up but if you Google it you will find that it is probably because they put metal in the microwave. So they call Dave, and Dave and Lucas (the maintenance guy) immediately get and install a new microwave. Now I know this was scary (and not our fault) but instead of praise for the quick response we get a 1 star review. The one thing that Dave mentioned that they complained about was the size of the soap! As to deferred maintenance…I don’t think so. Prior to these guests we were rented 90 out of the previous 107 days. Whenever a guest mentions a problem we always ask them if they would like it addressed immediately or after they are gone and we take care of it. Our goal is for every guest to have a great time and we don’t want little things getting in the way of that. How is the kitchen barely functional? There is a refrigerator, stove, microwave (brand new), pots and pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, cutlery, etc. What is missing? I don’t know. The amenities are sparse? Look at the photo on VRBO and our website what is missing? We supply bar soaps, paper towels, toilet paper, dish washing liquid, trash bags, sponges, etc. But we don’t supply shampoo, tooth brushes, or tooth paste and we don’t claim to in our listing or on our website. This is a condo and maybe these guys were expecting a hotel? I just don’t know. What I do know is that we want every guest to have a great time at an extremely reasonable price and we do whatever we can to accommodate them.

A sweet deal!

What a view. We just loved the place. Okay its not the Westin but its a quarter the price. If you a looking to save some money and have a great place to come back to after a day of site seeing this is your place. We ate in two nights and there was plenty of pots, pans, and utensils (contrary to other reviews). The unit was clean and comfortable and Jim and Lorna went out of there way to accommodate us. Have already told a few folks about this place and plan to return when we have more time.

Great Condo for the Price!

I live here on the island and have to say that this is one of the best deals for a condo with an ocean view. It's a great location, super peaceful, great trade winds, and nice pool/bbq. The condo is simply furnished and is comfortable. If you're looking for marble counter tops and crystal glassware for your wine you need to cough up three times the money and stay somewhere else. If you need a simple, clean place to call home while listening to the ocean, you're in the right place.
