These are times when enjoying the simple things like good food and wine with family or friends in comfortable surroundings are important. Our/Your Home in Napa is located in a quiet neighborhood in the NW corner of Napa where the city limits end and the agricultural zone and vineyards begin. Just up the street is Alston Park, a 157 acre open space park with spectacular vistas of the hills to the east and the valley and vineyards to the north.
Our home is tastefully decorated in a comfortable, yet elegant, Tuscan style. The kitchen and both upstairs bathrooms have been updated with granite, tile, and 'old world' cabinets.
Pieces of European and American antique furniture are infused throughout our home. The master bedroom has a beautiful solid cheery four poster panel queen bed and the second bedroom has an equally romantic french inspired queen bed. The 3rd bedroom has an antique oak double sleigh bed. All bedrooms have newer high end mattresses. There are fine linens in all three bedrooms. In addition to the large family room with it's gas fireplace there is also a more formal dining/living room which includes a lovely antique piano and seating for 6-8 at our formal dining table.
Outside in our backyard there is a gazebo, fountain, and patio dining table with a BBQ for your relaxation and enjoyment. Smoking is allowed in this outdoor area, but NOT anywhere inside of our home.
One of the most unique features of our home is it's co-owner, Larry Luttrell, who also owns and operates 'Your Driver in Napa' (see link below). He is very knowledgeable about the sites, dining, and activities of the valley and can take you to wineries that you may not discover without him as your driver. 34 years of living in Napa and 12 years of operating wine tours qualifies Larry to create a very private and individualized itinerary to fit your desires. 'Your Driver In Napa' is totally separate from 'Your Home In Napa' so whether you are staying with us, or not, Larry can work with you on your winery tours.
Keywords: Beautiful home on the edge of town and close to everything you need.
Thanks you for sharing your home wit us. We found your backyard and had lots of fun! Very comfortable.
We had a fantastic tour with Tina (itinerary set up by Larry). She was very kind and professional- loved her! Hopefully we can meet again.
Your home was shared with Laughs, Wine, and Friendship.
It was AWESOME. Thanks again and hope our paths cross on Harvest Lane again.
We had a great week in the Napa area. This house is just perfect. Very comfortable and super clean. Larry was super easy to deal with and made us feel right at home.
Great location for watching hot air balloons...
Your home is beautiful. It is in a great location close to everything. It's such a beautiful area . We had everything we needed. Thanks for the great directions and information provided.
Larry and Judy were fantastic to work with - very responsive and personable. The house was immaculate and in a terrific area, especially to explore the Napa/Rutherford wineries.
All six of us had a wonderful time at "our home in Napa". This beautiful and well appointed house has many comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces for relaxing after a day of wine tasting. The location is in an attractive neighborhood near a large park which is perfect for walking and taking in the views, yet just a very few minutes from great restaurants and downtown Napa. We hope to stay here again on our next Napa visit.
My High School girlfriends and I stayed at this home for 4 days while meeting up and vacationing in Napa, and it was the absolutely perfect vacation home. Spacious and open, very comfortable and pleasing both inside and out! Everything one could want in a vacation home, just lovely! Thank you.
We only had a 3-night stay, but our time in Napa was relaxed and enjoyable. The home was appointed beautifully and the feeling was luxurious. Plenty of space for three couples. We took advantage of the outdoor patio garden and gazebo after our daily winery visits. Nice, quiet neighborhood not too far from downtown. A longer stay would have allowed us time to cook in the well-equipped kitchen and to use the outdoor grill. All very clean and nice linens. The three bedrooms were upstairs which was great for us. Sleepers were not disturbed by night owls watching tv or early risers making coffee. Downstairs powder room was a big plus. Owners were very responsive to questions before and after booking. Looking forward to our next visit! Thanks Larry and Judy for a lovely home stay.
We enjoyed taking the 10:30am Napa Wine Train. The food was superb. Go to Gott's for burgers, tuna tacos, malts and fried brussels sprouts. The Pear restaurant in downtown Napa is on the riverfront and menu was varied and delicious. Also downtown was Ristorante Allegria in a cool, old bank building. Great pepper-crusted filet mignon. Dine in the Vault and take home a jar of the bread dip. R+D Kitchen restaurant in Yountville had a fabulous patio bar, modern vibe, super-fresh sushi and great entrees. If you love art and architecture, don't miss Kathryn Hall Winery. Beautiful surroundings and great wine, too! For fine chocolate, visit Anette's in downtown Napa. For cheeses and charcuterie, visit JCB Atelier on Washington in Yountville. We miss Napa already!
