We had a great 3-night stay with 2 families at this beautiful home in Feb. 2014. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 children. It's the last home in the neighborhood as you drive up the mountain and it feels very secluded. The views are amazing! We especially enjoyed the well-maintained outdoor hot tub and the nice wood burning fireplace (remember to bring firewood or it can be purchased a short distance away). There's also a gas fireplace in the basement. Overall, the home is beautiful and you definitely wouldn't go wrong staying here!
We wanted to let you know what a wonderful stay we had at your home. The location was definitely up in the mountains. We brought our family together for our daughters graduation at Western Carolina University. We all were able to be comfortable in the family areas eating, talking and playing cards. The beds and the bathrooms were definitely luxury. Those showers made all feel pampered. The decks and the seating outside are read and relax for sure. We were lucky enough to be there for the meteor shower and saw many many shooting stars. We did leave and go see the Elk in the park, wow we will never forget that. We had no problems or complaints, everything was just as you said. From each one of us a BIG THANKYOU. We have found our “go to place” when we want to be on the mountain.
Thank you for sharing your lovely home in Maggie Valley! Everything was better than described and we had a great time and hope to visit again in the future. We enjoyed tennis, golf, and running at Lake Junaluska, downtown Waynesville is a lot of fun with many good restaurants. The view from the decks and hot tub are great and you feel secluded even though you are close to everything that you might need!
Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay this weekend at your cabin. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! We loved every minute of our stay, it was perfect. We "tried" to ski, or I should say my husband and the girls did, I did not (I knew better than to try this :)), we went snow tubing, the girls used the hot tub which they thought was super cool to be sitting in the hot tub with snow on the ground. We played yatzee (for the first time for any of the 3 girls), we went for a walk, it was a perfect weekend. Thank you so much for allowing us to rent your place on such short notice, we have made alot of wonderful memories that will be with us forever. Maggie Valley was much closer than I ever realized and we hope to go back soon. If we should ever plan another trip, I will be sure to contact you to see if your cabin is available.
My Husband, son and dog stayed here August 2009. It was breathtaking. I would truly recommend this house. My 16 year old son loved the pool table. We were happy just staying at the house.
Can't say enough about this house. The White Family-Alachua, Florida Go Gators.
