The 14 units share the rooftop bar, grill and pool area. The Hacienda is a short drive from downtown San Miguel.
Ideally fly into Cozumel International Airport, a 10-minute ride away -- or -- fly into Cancun, a 40-minute cab or bus to Playa Del Carmen, a short ferry ride to Cozumel and then 5-minutes to Hacienda.

Of all our dive destinations, we always came back to Cozumel & ultimately chose Casa Turquesa as our place to invest for the safety of the island, the incredible restaurants, the warm and friendly Cozumelenos, and the gorgeous diving sites. We are the original owners and take pride in the cleanliness & beauty of Casa Turquesa.
North location, very quiet and private. Walking distance to Cozumel Country Club. A long sandy stretch of beach, walk in, no rocks. We have an incredible rooftop bar with swinging bar stools and a panoramic ocean view! This complex is unlike any structure on the island. Very charming. No rectangular box construction. A truly magical place. If you prefer not to rent a car, the Melia hotel is a just outside the entrance to our neighborhood, there are always taxi's available. Some guests have had the same taxi for their entire stay. They simply call from the complimentary cell we provide and the taxi picks you up at Casa Turquesa!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casa Turquesa. With three teenagers, we needed a place that was big enough to accommodate us all, and I wanted a place off the beaten path where I could cook and relax on a nearby beach. We found it all at Casa Turquesa. The property manager, Vanessa, met us on arrival and was very helpful, especially with restaurant and service recommendations. Her selections were perfect for our adventurous appetites. She was very helpful and responsive to any requests we had, but we didn't have a lot since the house was so exceptionally well stocked. I was able to indulge in shopping at the mercado and cooking traditional mexican foods (we used the outdoor grill on the kitchen balcony a lot!!) We loved the friendly neighbors and the relaxed and congenial vibe of the property. The beach was perfect for relaxing with very few people on the part closest to the property. Walked on the beach most mornings and the Condo Rooftop was perfect for sun salutations in the morning. We rented the car from ISIS at the recommendation of Diana and their service (and prices) were great. The property is just far enough away to recommend a car, while one of your neighbors didn't, and they seemed to be getting along fine! It had been over 20 years since my last trip to Cozumel, and a lot has changed, yet Casa Turquesa maintained the wonderful "old Cozumel" feelings. I hope it won't be another 20 years before we are back, and when we return, Casa Turquesa will be at the top of the list for a place to stay.
My husband and I were at Casa Turquesa for 2 weeks, it was absolutely beautiful. The place was spotless upon our arrival, we were met shortly after we arrived by Claire the manager of the property, she was very helpful with our stay. There were plenty of towels and linens for our use. Beach chairs were available, the whole place is just perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need. The water cooler in kitchen was great (no worries to have to get water). Everything was convenient for us. I would recommend a car as this villa is not really in walking distance to town. We enjoyed driving to SkyReef and Playa Corona to snorkel, eat and drink. We visited Buccanos, the snorkeling was nice but restaurant was a little pricy and not for us. We went on the Pirate Dinner Cruise, I would recommend that to adults (lots of fun). The grocery stores were convenient, we also drove to the East side of the island and went to some beautiful beaches. All in all it was a great vacation. We rented car from Fox rental it was great too.
This property was exactly as described. It was clean and very comfortable and the property manager was very easy to work with, although we never required her assistance during our stay. The 2-story condo gave us plenty of space so our teenage kid could sleep in while we hung out downstairs, and we took advantage of the pool a couple times.
This is a nice place for people who don't want to party at all times yet it was an easy 10-minute drive to get to town. Bikes would work pretty well from here as well, I think. It was very quiet every night after 10 and the few neighbors we met were very sociable.
The beach was easy to get to but unfortunately there was a residual storm that blew a bunch of trash on the beach and the water was very choppy so we didn't use it for our stay. The property manager said that was very unusual so it's probably not something most people will experience.
All in all, a great time, the owners were very easy to deal with, and we would definitely rent this place again.
Thank you Diana for such a relaxing getaway! Your property is clean and easily accessible with all the creature comforts of home. The property manager made sure everything was taken care of, too! We absolutely loved the rooftop patio as well as the quiet pool area and new chairs. We thought we were ready to try another location in the tropics but decided there's so much more to explore that what we had initially thought! This was our first time staying at the "north end" and were pleasantly surprised with all it had to offer. The walking path was beautiful for our morning walks and even discovered a couple new favorite places: Buccanos was a great place to hang out without having to travel in to town during the day. We look forward to coming back next year and exploring more of the beautiful island.
Thank you Diana & Mark for sharing your beautiful Casa Turquesa with us!! This is our 4th year staying at the Hacienda Monte Cresto, we loved your place! Perfect location and it is so quiet and clean. Also, Karen made sure that we had everything we needed when we arrived, encluding ice cold beer!
And the beach out front is one of the prettiest on the island!

This condo provides the best Cozumel has to offer. The property is clean and well-maintained with complete amenities so thoughtfully provided, from wireless connection and local cell phone to a well-equipped kitchen and even beach toys for the children. The location is absolutely the best on the island, a short walk to the prettiest beach we saw yet in a very quiet area away from the crowds. This condo is absolutely the choice unit on the property with four balconies overlooking a beautiful pool. It is quite spacious and very comfortable. We felt very safe there and the neighbors were friendly and helpful with suggestions. The owner and the property manager could not have been nicer, both of whom went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and our questions answered. We would definitely recommend this property to others and, in fact, would love to return ourselves. Due to its location a short drive from the center of town, I would recommend renting a car to give quick, easy access to restaurants, shopping, etc. We enjoyed a drive around the entire island one afternoon, and returned back to Casa Turquesa, knowing that we had, indeed, picked the best spot on the island!! As for restaurants, Casa Denis, just off the main plaza, is the oldest restaurant there and a great place for local food. Del Sur, along with wonderful meats, serves the best empanadas I've ever had! Thanks for a wonderful first visit to Cozumel!
