Traditional farmhouse situated on a working farm in the beautiful Horner Valley

Farm Cottage is situated in West Luccombe in the Horner Valley, which is just a mile from the village of Porlock. This cottage is part of the farmhouse at West Luccombe, which is a National Trust 300 acre farm on the Holnicote Estate. This area is known as a walkers paradise due to the beautiful wooded valleys with streams, open moorland and rolling hills, plus the magnificent coastal scenery. There is a fantastic network of marked footpaths from the front door.Farm Cottage has all the charm and character you would expect of this type of traditional building; an Aga in the kitchen, a wood-burner in the sitting room, very spacious throughout and much more besides.

The entrance hall leads into the kitchen with dining table, there is also a separate large sitting room with wood-burner. Farm Cottage sleeps 6 having three good sized bedrooms upstairs, two double (king-sized beds) and one twin room, which all enjoy lovely views across the fields. There is a family bathroom with shower over the bath, plus separate toilet downstairs.

Farm Cottage has its own separate driveway, plenty of parking for three cars or more and a private garden. It is situated on a working farm so great for the kids to be involved if they wish, just ask Jane the owner. This is a great family destination - you really will feel like you have 'got away from it all'!

Farm Cottage is situated on a working farm in West Luccombe. West Luccombe is the perfect destination 'off the beaten path', sat at the foot of Exmoor's highest hill, the 1,750 feet Dunkery Beacon, and approximately 1/4 mile south of the road between Porlock and Minehead. Nearby Luccombe has an impressive church which is a focal point of the village and many thatched cottages making it very picturesque. This area features everything that a keen walker might be looking for!
