Serene, Secluded Hideaway
A positively serene, secluded hideaway nestled in the mountains, but conveniently located close to the coast and close to towns, with lots of things to do and see in the immediate area. We thoroughly enjoyed hiking up the mountain behind the cottage, the misty morning views, and the sunsets at Fermoyle Beach. Thank you, James, for such a wonderful stay!
Peaceful house with great view
Beautiful, spacious house in the Burren area. Great view, well equipped, nice and helpful owner. It's so quiet and peaceful. Not far from Fanore beach. A good place to stay and explore the area. We've had a great holiday.
We had a wonderful stay. The house is adorable and the surroundings are the most beautiful. We took hikes from the backyard of the house. So glad I found this gem. James was very helpful. The only small issue we had - the internet was going down few times and we had to restart the router.
The Wild West
Fantastic location and great property. Highly recommended!
a warm and wonderful place in the burden
Incomparable beauty and comfort!
Sacred Time Away
The cottage looked just like its picture and even better ! It was just the kind of place we needed to take long walks and hikes from... to just sit and absorb.... well equipped and efficient, it freed us to live simply and richly in that glorious landscape. It was a special moment meeting the owners, Lucy and James, who shared our love of the writings of John O'Donohue. It was his
books that brought us to that particular spot - so that we could read, think, chat and just absorb the beauty of that place - it was a scared time for us - thank you !
The Burren is renowned for its remarkable assemblage of plants and animals. The region supports many rare Irish species, some of which are only found in this area. The rolling hills of Burren are composed of limestone pavements with criss-crossing cracks, Because of this it is a beautiful area to walk in and the views from Blackhead over Galway Bay is specular. There are many walks in the area and Fanore beach is just down the road.
The famous Cliffs of Moher, The Aran Islands and Doolin -famous for Irish music are all within easy reach.
