My Husband, sister in law, brother in law and I rented this beautiful home on Lake Livingston in 2005 for 2 months... it's a quiet community with everything you could want, pool, exercise room, clubhouse, marina, golf course. The accomodations had everything you could need. Close to town for last minute grocery shopping and not that far to anything else you wanted to see. Houston was about a 45 minute drive. It was across the street from a beautiful park area too...
Property well kept and beautiful
view of lake ! Everything provided , just bring your groceries .
What a lovely home! The location was perfect, sitting across the park with small beach access for the kids to splash. The community was quiet and friendly. So many deer grazing and just relaxing on lawns. Everything you'd need plus some were included. Greg was nothing short of a perfect host from booking to departure. Thank you Greg for allowing us to stay in your lovely home. Hope to visit again!
My husband and I rented this property for about two months during the summer and it was perfect. The house is fully furnished, has a cute deck to watch the wildlife and has a water front view through the park across the street. Lots of natural light and Greg was very attentive. I would definitely come again and highly recommend to anyone looking to get away to the Cape.
I can't say enough good about this home! We met up with another couple for the week-end. It is the perfect get away from hectic city life. The house is very clean and well taken care of. Everything you'd need and then some are in the house when you arrive. The view of the lake is great and it's a very comfortable place to be. The deck is nice for relaxing and for taking in all of nature that surrounds you. Greg went out of his way to accomodate us. There is a nice little grocery store not far from the property that had everything we needed for our meals. Coldspring has some cute little antique shops. I would highly recommend this property!
The house and property were immaculate. The view facing Lake Livingston every morning was very relaxing. Gregg was wonderful.
At least several days a week we had deer in our backyard. Golf, tennis, and the exercise room was a nice benefit that we used.
We rented from January 1 to March 6. This is a weekend resort for the people that live in Houston. No boating or swimming during the winter.
The year round residents were very friendly.
