Asheville Area House Rental Photos and Description

Rental Home - 3 Bedrooms - 2 Baths - (Sleeps 6)

Stoneybrook is an extraordinary property that has numerous streams with massive stands of laurel and lush foliage bordered and protected by the US Forest Service. Enjoy walking the nature trails with unusual native wild flowers and an awesome stand of trees of many varieties (some of which are marked and identified... one hickory tree is estimated to be 150 years old).

The very spacious 24 by 28 feet outdoor pavilion with a stone fireplace is a favorite gathering place for each guest. Imagine a romantic evening listening to the crackling fire with your love, regardless of the weather or curl up with a good book while listening to the beautiful song birds and the babbling brooks.

We provide many magazines for your reading enjoyment. You will find many books with points of interest of this area and games and such for children. Provided are two mountain bikes for your pleasure.

The Vineyard with hardwood floors, cathedral ceiling, skylight windows, and cable television. Brookside offers hardwood floors, natural finish tongue and groove pine board paneling decorated in nature wood motif. The Nantucket says it all. It has its own skylight bathroom and is decorated to match its name. The cottage, according to many guests, has more to offer than just being a great vacation spot. It is nestled on 3.2 acres bordering Mount Pisgah National Forest and it is located only 10 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Each of the three bedrooms and 2 baths have been totally remodeled...hardwood floors, cathedral ceilings, skylight windows, tongue and groove pine paneling are some of the unique features. Snuggling in comfortable beds as the Katydids sing you to sleep is a dream come true! Beds are 1 king size and 1 queen and 1 full size beds with luxury bedding for your comfort.

Little piece of Heaven

  • 5 of 5

I absolutely loved this place. It is home away from home! From the moment I stepped through the front door I was in love! The house was so warn and inviting. The pavilion is right out the back door and the fireplace had fresh wood ready to be burned. We enjoyed the sweet Yellow Lab that came down to visit us every day. The kids ran around the yard with her and played soccer. The yard was beautiful with tulips, iris, and succulents. The red barn behind the garage was the perfect setting for pictures! We had the best time exploring the yard and trails that lead back to a creek. The beds were perfect and comfy, which is usually something that is lacking in rentals. I could just go on and on. I can not wait to come back, I left a little piece of my heart there when I closed the door to leave:( Thank you so much for sharing such a special place!

Beautiful, and Peaceful!

  • 5 of 5

Elmer's Watt's vacation home was the perfect setting to reunite with my family after 5 years. My mother and sister stayed with my 4 year old daughter and I at the rental. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were at home. The accommodations were immaculate with allot of attention to detail. There were even toys for my daughter to play with! We spent allot of time enjoying the beautiful wooded setting, cooking and gathering around the kitchen as well. This place is a must if you like a quiet, relaxing, family gathering. A great place for both young and elderly family members to enjoy!

Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Watts for everything you did, to make sure that our stay was memorable!

Great for families

  • 5 of 5

Hands down this was a great place to stay for our family of five (ages 8,10,12). First there is the land with multiple creeks running through it. The kids played in the woods and creeks until we had to call them in. The covered outdoor space was better than we imagined. We sat out there and read with a fire in the fireplace, we had dinner out there, and it was essentially an outdoor room. The house was clean and spacious, the mattresses were great, the bathrooms clean and roomy with plenty of towels. Bottom line, it was a great place at a great price.

Beautiful property nestled in nature but close to everything in Asheville

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have been more pleased with Stoneybrook. The house itself is cozy, well-appointed and spacious, and the outdoor fireplace and lanai are out of this world. Everything was spotlessly clean and neat when we arrived, and Elmer could not have been more accommodating. We live in a city, and were in town to get away from the hustle and bustle while also hoping to check out everything Asheville has to offer. This house was exactly what we had in mind. Very off the grid feel, but a quick 20-minute or so drive to Biltmore, Grove Park, downtown, and everything else we wanted to see in Asheville. We're coming back!

Perfect place to get away!

  • 5 of 5

This was my second time to rent this adorable cabin! It won't be my last. This cabin has the most comfortable feel like you are staying with a friend. Depending on the season, you can drive up and be on the Blue Ridge Parkway in a short time. There is so much to see on the Parkway. On the way in to town, we went by Cataloochee to see the Elk! It's a majestic experience. There is a really nice grocery store less than 10 minutes from the cabin. We went in late March for spring break and had fabulous weather for exploring. The cabin is ideal for families and has a really relaxing yard that is well cared for. The gardens were blooming and the outdoor patio was ready for a fire and cook out! It is single story with just a few steps up to the door. No pets allowed so that those with pet allergies can stay without allergies flaring up. We couldn't leave without visiting the Discount Shoe store in Ashville and eating at the Moose Cafe! Owners are very attentive if a need arises during your stay.

Nice property at a great price. Well equipped and very clean. Also enjoyed walking the property out back and sitting on the bench by the stream. Very close to shopping and Asheville. Great location to explore the area. Lots of Birds, which we enjoy.
