"I want to thank you again for your hospitality over the last week.
We had an absolutely great time. The property was spectacular and,
without question, the nicest place we've ever stayed. You guys were
friendly, responsive and helpful and we thank you very much for your
hospitality. We will contact you over the next several months to
arrange a winter visit. Thank you again, and we will be referring
friends and relatives your way."
We had a wonderful 4 night stay in this home. 6 adults and 5 children aged 2-7 years. The house is a beautiful classic large ski home. Very well stocked for guests. Kitchen well equipped and loads of towels. Mud room entrance very convenient as is laundry room in the basement. It is listed as a 5 bedroom but could really be considered 6 as the TV room in the lower level is a room with a door and has two pullout couches that we didn't use. The games room is a separate common area from this private and largish TV room. Our kids used the TV room to play in. The home is nicely furnished with rustic ski decor and durable, very suitable for young kids and dogs. Does not have fenced area for letting dogs out but a great walking trail just a few doors down. Peter was very available with Whistler tips and also responded promptly to have a hot tub problem fixed within 24 hours. Highly recommended.
This is a big house with lots of rooms and everything needed to have fun. There was tons of space incl pool table, hot tub, sauna and steam room. My kids didn't want to go out. There were all basics for cooking, as well as plenty of pots and utensils. There were plenty of beds for our crowd of 10 and could have slept more. I worried this was too far away from town, but it is a nice walk around the golf course to the Village (20 mins). Whistler was amazing in the summer.
THERE IS BUT ONE HOME TO STAY WHEN VISITING WHISTLER and this is it! We had a group of 7 visiting for a bachelor party and had an amazing time. The house is very open and has a lot of space so we never felt confined or claustrophobic during our stay. The pool table, hot tub, darts and living room were great for unwinding after a long day on the mountain and the kitchen/dining room was big which was perfect for a group of our size. The house was fairly close to Whistler Village (about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride) and a short bike ride to several lakes/beaches. The manager was really easy to work with and was very accommodating when we had any questions leading up to our stay. Definitely plan on returning and staying here in the future.
We stayed here in this large home with several families and young kids the week after Xmas. Good floor plan with bedrooms having adjacent bathrooms, the steam room, hot tub and sauna perfect after a day on the mountains, and the pool table for evening fun. The kids attended Creekside ski camp and the house is conveniently a 7-10 minute drive from Whistler village and Creekside and we saw quite a few taxis in front of our street so if you don't have a car, the drive to town shouldn't cost that much. You can't get much closer to Whistler village than Blueberry Hill where the house is located. House stocked with lots of wood for cozy fires in the living room and master bedroom. We spent a lot of time around the kitchen and breakfast bar area. Peter the manager is very pleasant to deal with. Only negatives were the furniture was a little old - the dining chairs were not comfortable (they're very low seats and a seat cushion is mandatory), the living room sofa was old and dusty (we looked under the cushions looking for a lost tablet and think the cleaners should do a thorough job of vacuuming/dusting), the stereo system badly needs an update. Peter was nice enough to bring by a set of portable speakers as the house speakers were blown out before we arrived and luckily we asked some of the guests to bring their own speakers. While we aren't TV junkies by any means, to satisfy some of the guests some of the time, I'd suggest getting more cable channels than the basic package. Our house party also cooked a lot and we found the kitchen had just enough of the basics to cook and serve a large party of 14 (or more with guests over for NYE.) A great house, easy to live in and move around without feeling crowded or stepping on other people's space.
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful log home. We strongly recommend it for those who want a quiet beautiful location in Whistler.
Great home base for multiple families. We had 3 families, 7 kids in total and it fit us comfortably. Less than 5 minutes to slopes. Beautiful log home. Kitchen and bathrooms are perfectly functional, but a little dated. Would happily return.
