A property with history galore! On a farm dating back to 1770 built by the Colden family of New York, the Creamery is also part of what once was the Alex Campbell Milk Co. in the late 1800's. Nestled among the greenery yet close to Hudson Valley fun! A separate one-bedroom second-story space in it's own private building where you'll feel the charm of a by-gone era. A deck overlooking a wooded glen and a kitchen window with a view of the barn with it's hand-hewn timbers.
The space - a quaint charming living/dining area directly off the cozy kitchen has a comfy couch and chair and a little nook to curl up and read a book. The kitchen has an apartment-size stove, full size refrigerator and all the tools you need to make yummy meals or just snacks.
Also available on the property: Colden House (see listing #1153362) sleeps 13 and can be rented as well so the whole family can gather!

Want your kids to experience a campfire and get closer to nature but retreat to a comfy home when it's time for shut-eye? The Creamery also has it's own fire pit! Let us know ahead and we will supply a bundle of wood and get you set for a fun evening! (During warmer months, you'll probably want to bring along some bug spray just in case.)
See deer, wild turkey, listen to owls at night. Occasionally a fox will stroll by!
As your neighbors we'll be ready to provide assistance but we also respect your privacy! Please respect the privacy of our home and our personal guests in return. If you'd like a brief tour of the barn or a chat about the history of the place - just say the word!
