The farm is equipped with all comforts. Through a walled garden and private entrance gives access to the house. In the garden are all kinds of nooks with seating and a table to dine at.
The living and dining rooms are ensuite and both have fireplaces (wood by providing us)
There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, stove and Nespresso coffee machine. Inside there are books, games to entertain you on a rainy day and up to 2 TVs and of course there is wifi.
There are 3 bedrooms and beds made up on arrival. The room can accommodate up to 6 adults. Shower, bath and toilet are 3 separate rooms.

Staying on an estate between the apple and pear trees. In the heart of the Randstad, centrally located between Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leiden and The Hague, lies Estate De Olmenhorst. Here, in the midst of this urban area, you will find an unexpected oasis of calm. Once you pay the bill the stately driveway, you will find yourself in another world. The path leads past flowery borders, monumental buildings and, especially, many orchards. On this estate lives and works the now fifth generation of the family de Clercq.
From this special place, you can explore the area. Possibly with our manicured bike, moped or even boat (boat or sailing)
Per season is plenty to do in the area. How about a visit to the exhibition at the Keukenhof flower bulbs or cycling between the bulb fields.
In the summer season can be reached in 15 minutes to the beach or the dunes of Langevelderslag and Noordwijk.
But you do not even on the estate. There is plenty to do on the estate:
• Large estate shop
• Picnic in the orchard
• Large playground near the farm shop
• Various workshop workshop
• And in the autumn you can pick delicious apples and pears on the estate.
On the Estate:
you can stroll between the apple and pear orchards. For children there are various educational quests to explore the estate. We gladly provide you with nice trails and a picnic in our orchard is of course a must.
To Olmenhorst getting to know inside we provide on request guided tours, which history, fruit, current developments and other interesting issues discussed.
Take a lovely bike ride in the area with a picnic basket first. Dunes, forest and beach are not too far as the charming Kaageiland (10 minutes by bike) with its water sports activities.
The villages Lisse New Vennep with a cozy village are within biking distance. Furthermore, you are by car within 25 minutes in the cities: Amsterdam, Leiden, The Hague and Haarlem
Between about 20 March and 20 May, a visit to this exhibition outdoor bulbs worth.
Europe's largest playground has more than three hundred and fifty playground and attractions like cable cars, trampoline & airbag center, pedal boats, motor carts, funny-wheels, rocking biking, mini golf and a super slide. Spectacular is the eleven meter high Piratennest and the Pioneer Village is a joy to play. Water playground "The Oasis" offers a gigantic water spectacle where young and old can enjoy playing with water.
Here you can stroll through nature. Additionally Waternet organizes activities throughout the year in the splendid dunes. You can try out a bat tour, nature guides with an early morning walk with the ranger and a bike ride, or learn to recognize bird sounds.
In Archeon you experience the history of the Netherlands. On this particular park has cabins, temples, taverns, monastery, guild houses, bridges and ports that are each a reconstruction of buildings from earlier times. These reconstructions are inhabited by so-called Archeon Interpretation. These let you get acquainted with the customs and living conditions of that time.
Avifauna Bird Park is the first and one of the most famous bird parks in the world. The park has plenty of greenery and ponds, a restaurant and a large playground with slide traditionally the highest tower in the Netherlands. The park was owned by the Van der Valk group but since the beginning of 2012 a foundation. Avifauna Bird Park Foundation is dedicated to bird and nature and has an ANBI status (public benefit organization). From the park can be made boat trips.
